Get your moneys worth at Miracle Strip

Pros: Affordable, nice view on the higher rides, great family activity.
Cons: not as big as some other parks.
The Bottom Line: Miracle Strip is a fun, reasonably priced place on the strip.

Nestled in the panhandle of Florida is a beautiful town called Panama City. Endless beaches, a party atmosphere and beautiful hotels are some of the sights you will see as you cruise up and down the main drag. On the main strip you will also notice an amusement park. Miracle Strip is a nice little amusement park in one of the best towns in north Florida.
Miracle Strip isn't a big park like Six Flags, but it has plenty of thrills and fun rides to satisfy the whole family.
The roller coaster which doesn't have a fancy name is definitely a highlight of this park. Full of gigantic hills and rushing excitement this is an exciting ride. Although there are probably better roller coasters out there, this one gives you a stunning view of the beach and an endless ocean for that split second you are reaching the peak.
Miracle Strip also has a great haunted house. Thrills and surprises at every turn and a lot of fun to go in with your friends, this will definitely not disappoint.
Every time I have visited Miracle Strip I have also made sure to go into The Abominable Snowman. A ride similar to The Octopus or Scrambler, this ride has disco music, flashing lights and a cold atmosphere. This is a wonderful way to get out of the summer heat and sing along with Kool-n-the Gang and Rick James.
One ride I wasn't as impressed with is called The Looper. This ride goes in a circular motion putting you upside down. Normally I like this kind of action except it wasn't fast enough. Motion sickness set in quickly and I can guarantee you I didn't stand in line a second time for this one. If you are looking for a similar ride that won't have the same effect I recommend the Shockwave. This did the same thing but a lot faster.
Miracle Strip is an economical day out for the family at a reasonable rate of $15.00 a day for each person. If you go to www.miraclestrippark.com you also can get a coupon to spend even less. You have to answer a little quiz question but the answer is right there on the sight. I highly recommend this fun amusement park for a day in the sun at Panama City Beach
