| graphicmom's Full Review: Evenflo On My Way Travel System |
After not having any children for 11 years, my husband and I found ourselves expecting a baby. As you probably thought, we had gotten rid of all baby stuff thinking we weren't going to need them any longer. We started looking at many strollers, and chose the Evenflo On My Way Travel System.
It is sturdy and unfolds easily. I can unfold it with one hand, but folding takes a little more effort. It seemed to take my husband forever to learn to do it.
I love the fact that the stroller has a carrier/carseat that attaches to it. This is great for newborns that don't seem to hold thier head up enough yet to sit in a regular stroller.
I didn't want to buy a baby car seat and a stroller, so this was even more the stroller for me. The carrier quickly snaps onto the base that we leave in the van. Making it a car seat.
Another plus of the carrier is that it snaps onto the back part of the seat of shopping carts. I don't like the idea of putting my babies into the ones that come attached to the carts, because of germs. So, this made it so that I can shop and my baby was right there facing me.
Since having my son, two years ago, I had a daughter. She came down with a cold when the weather changed and was having a hard time breathing. The doctor told me to have her elevated while sleeping. She saw that I had the infant carrier and told me that this was the perfect new home for my sick baby until she was better. She is sitting in it right now and is breathing well.
This stroller also has a large storage area underneath for all the baby items we need to carry. I give this stroller a two thumbs up!
