For the Busier Parent

My friend Kathy works and gives me a hard time when I start acting like Martha Stewart (I'm really not, but I can be creative when pushed). She would never make her own pinata (though it only takes 20 minutes for the easy version) or create her own invitations on the computer. Her pat response (and I respect this 100%) "I just don't have the time". We all know the value of our time. She was planning for her three year old's party. So, I suggested to her that she check in to the local McDonald's Fun Land. They do parties.
It is a reasonably priced way for kids to have fun. McDonald's does all the work. You send out the invitations and arrive and play and, of course, pay the bill. They provide the goodie bags, cake, food, drinks and will help keep the show on the road, so to speak. The staff are at your beck and call. They assign an employee who just helps with Birthday parties (and other duties on the off days).
The kids have a ball playing with the equipment and always enjoy the food!
The way to go if you are really busy and couldn't be bothered with fumbling around making pinatas and such.
