Pros: The price is reasonable, they are soft, nice size for babies and some adults! =)
Cons: Addictive!
The Bottom Line: What a wonderful baby gift! Soft, cuddly, and reasonably priced.

Ok! I admit it...I'm an adult who is addicted to Beanies! There...I said it! I'm so addicted to them, that I have added a section of my web site especially for Beanies! I love my Beanies...I have NO shame!!!
My addiction began several years ago, when I started hearing a lot of hype about something or someone called "Beanies". What in the world are Beanies? I asked my daughter if she knew what they were, but she didn't know either...until that fateful day she went to lunch with a friend and her friend took her to Hallmark where there was a line all the way out into the Mall! Reluctantly, she took her place at the back of the line and couldn't believe that she was spending her lunch hour standing right in the middle of a bunch of men and women going nuts over some "stuffed toy"! Somehow, she made it to the cashier and bought 1 of the "only" Beanies left after the mad rush! She came home that night with "Snort" the red bull and gave him to me! She wasn't bitten by the thrill of the "Beanie Hunt" bug....but I was HOOKED! I couldn't wait for "my" first "find".
It wasn't long after that, that I would have my wish...and my hunt would continue to grow and grow and grow! Over the years, I've collected quite a few of the little darlings. My favorite Beanie Babies are the Bears. Now that the first edition has all retired and the new ones are slowly filtering in, my favorite so far is the Baby Tys! They are so precious! I mistakenly thought that they would be small little stuffed toys when I saw them on Ty's web site...and was shocked the first time I saw them in person! They are much bigger than I had ever imagined...about the size of the Buddies. They are also soooooo soft! I think that was what made them my favorite!
The Baby Tys will make excellent baby gifts...although my "babies" are grown now and I don't have any grandchildren at the moment, I do have a beautiful little niece who will love opening these on her Birthday and Christmas. And of course, I have my "own" growing collection that is beginning to take over my bed! =)
I would highly recommend these adorable little stuffed toys to anyone! No matter what age you are...you are never too young or old to love a "Beanie"!
