I purchased the Graco Duo Rider stroller for several reasons. First and foremost, I got it for next to free<grin>. BabyStyle.com has some awesome deals. I was able to use a $50 off $100 order offer at their site, combined with a $20 gift...
I purchased the Graco Duo Rider when my twins were born. I already had the Prego Tender, but I wanted a lighter stroller that I could keep in my car. I chose the Duo Rider because it was not too pricey ($120), it had HUGE baskets, and the seats were...
Pros: large basket, large sun visor, reclining seats Cons: too wide, hard to maneuver, straps hard to adjust
We decided we needed a double stroller when I was pregnant with our second child and our son was under age 2. We considered both front/back and side-by-side double strollers and settled on the later one. It was very important to me that the stroller...
Pros: Seats 2 comfortably Cons: Difficult to handle, breaks easily.
I started to write a positive review of the Graco Duo Rider. I have one. I use one. Hey, I really *wanted to like this. But I found that I just couldn't.
Don't get me wrong. I use mine all the time. I have an 8 month old, a 3 year old,...
Pros: durable, lots of storage room in compartments Cons: not always easy to fold up, locking mechanism sometimes sticks
When we had our second baby, we knew that buying a second single stroller would have been less expensive than buying a dual stroller, but prohibitive nonetheless. (How the heck do you drag two kids and carry two strollers onto the bus?) So, we...
Pros: Ergonomic handle, large storage basket Cons: For some...two position recline
After endless research on the internet, and endless requests for opinions from other moms with toddlers and new infants, I finally decided that this stroller was the best choice for practicality and price. My decisions has proven to be the best. Both...
Pros: Handles Easily Cons: No Drink Holder - Not very important to all
This is one of the best purchases that my husband and I made before our twin daughters arrival. The Graco Duo Rider handles easily. I sometimes have to hold one of my girls while pushing the other in the stroller and can easily do so with one hand. It...
Pros: Attractive, Large basket, Reclining seats Cons: Wide(expected in side-by-sides), not as sturdy as Graco's travel systems, seat pads fall off
First let me explain my need for a double stroller. I have two children who are 13mos apart. When my younger was born, we put off buying a double stroller by getting an umbrella stroller for our older child and kept the baby in the larger Graco travel...
Pros: You can shop and not have to carry your packages! Cons: get's dirty easily---but what doesn't when you have kids?
As a mother of two, that are 17 months apart, I definitely needed a double stroller. We purchased the Graco Double Stroller from Wal-mart way before our second was born. Of course we still had our Graco one-seater but after our second was born, we...
Pros: Comfortable for kids, folds easily, removable cushions Cons: could be too wide in some instances- but not often
I should start out by saying that anyone trying to go out and about with two or more kids in tow is going to have some rough times. I got it because the front to back double stroller I had just wasn't comfortable or practical any more for my one and...
Pros: Lightweight, easy to maneuver Cons: a bit wide to get into smaller stores
When we first decided to buy a double stroller, I was determined to get the "front to back" model. I thought the "side by side" model was too big and would be difficult to get through doorways and would be hard to maneuver. My husband...
Pros: Ease of use, steers well, comfort. Cons: none
I purchased the Graco Duo Rider just before my second child was born. My oldest was 2 1/2. As a Nursery nurse, I meet and become friends with a lot of mothers. After talking with them, I decided on a side by side stroller. Those who had used the...
Pros: convient Cons: wheel broke off, not a wide variety of colors.
I am a mother of 3 girls and 2 of them are twins. When I was carrying the twins I knew I needed a double stroller and I couldn't decide between the front to back or side by side, well I got both because I just wasn't sure. They craco front to back was...
Pros: Cost, Style, Baskets, Side by Side Cons: None
I purchased this stroller when I found out I was expecting twins. I already had two other children, also young, so I also had a Perego triple stroller on hand. I was looking for something in a specific (read inexpensive)price category.
Pros: Lots of room for the babies, and plenty of storage room under the seats Cons: sorta expensive
I must admit, I was very skeptical about buying a side-by-side stroller. I was given a front-to-back stroller at my baby shower, and I loved it for about the first 1/2 hour I used it. After that, I had NO desire to ever use it again. It was so hard to...
Pros: smooth ride, easy to fold, not too heavy Cons: "safety" bars could be better
Keeping in mind that my last experience with a two child stroller was horrible, I went into buying this one very critical of everything. We already own the single version of this stroller, and haven't had any problems with it, so we were hopeful. We...
Pros: Reasonably priced, Two kids can see Cons: Very hard to maneuver, Doesn't fit down Aisles
IF you are planning on shopping with this stroller Make sure that you find a store with Wide Aisles. I have found that this stroller is very hard to turn in small spaces and it does not fit down most shopping aisles especially if they are like in a...
We purchased this stroller when we found out I was having twins. I looked at several other duo-strollers and found this one to be the best for the following reasons:
PROS:
* With 2 newborn babies you need both seats to recline fully....
I LOVE this stroller. I took this stroller with me to Disneyland with 2 small children, and it seemed to "clear the path" for me. I have had limited problems in stores with narrow aisles, but with practice, it is "do-able". The only...
My Mom bought us this stroller when I was pregnant with our 2nd daughter. I looked into double strollers and decided that a side to side would be better for us. I do like this stroller. The baskets are very roomy and it sets up easily. There are a few...
Pros: Light Weight and Large Basket Cons: hard to manage
A few years ago I bought this Graco Duo Rider for my sister-in-law when I found out she was having twins.I had debated on the different styles out there and choose this one.The only problem with the side-by-side is getting through small shopping...
Pros: All-purpose double stroller meets all needs! Cons: Closing mechanism is a stretch...not in the best location.
My husband and I went to a baby superstore to check out double strollers for our twin daughters and decided on the side-by-side version as we want both children to be able to have a view of the world.
Pros: easy to use, comfortable handle for parents, kids get to see each other, and a big sun visor and a nice pattern for the stroller Cons: seatbelts hard to adjust, seatbelts also can get trapped and break during storage, sunvisor needs alocking mechanism and velcro does not hold very well on the seats
We purchased the Graco DuoRider because my husband and I have 2 small children under the age of 2 (age 6mths and 19 months). Both are our pride and joy.
Going out to the stores I would always either have to hold the 6 month old all through...
Pros: Value for Money, Dependable, Cargo Space, Easy and Quick to Fold, Washable Seat Pads Cons: Still a little bulky, hard to navigate in gravel or soft grass/dirt
This is honestly one of the greatest pieces of baby equipment I have ever purchased. I lived in the city and had two children under 15 months, and a husband who took our only car to work each day, when I bought it. It became our means of transportation...
Pros: Its very roomy and spacious for your child, your children can sit side by side Cons: Sometimes it is hard to get in and out of tight spots.
I bought this stroller because I have twins. But I have come to love it so much. The seats recline to where the children can take a nap comfortably or sit upright. The bars are detachable from the seat, but when you need them on they help keep the...
Pros: Both children are in front; no hair pulling, pinching, etc; duo baskets under the stroller Cons: As wide as a wheelchair so doesn't fit in many spaces; still very wide when folded in the back of the car
I have two children, ages 3 and 16 months. When I was pregnant with our second child, we decided that a duo stroller would be ideal to have since the boys are only 2 years apart. We went to the store and spent at least an hour pushing, folding and...
I learned that I was pregnant with my third son when my second son was just 6 months old. Since, I was just learning how to get out and about with two children, I was very nervous about how I would handle simple tasks like going to the store or walks...
Pros: light and easy to store Cons: hard to manage
My mother-in-law bought this stroller for us as soon as found out we were going to have twins. I thought it was a great gift and couldn't wait to take the boys out in it when they were born. I thought it would be neat to have the babies side by side, but...
Pros: Kids won't "miss" anything in the back seat, lightweight, comfortable Cons: Cannot get through the aisles of some department stores
When I got pregnant with my second child, my husband and I knew we would need a double stroller. We eventually purchased a tandem stroller (front/back type) and it worked for a while. When my daughter got a little older, she wanted to see everything...
Pros: Easy to maneuver, a more comfortable ride for the kids Cons: W~I~D~E Load!
After 2 months of attempting to heave ho our two boys (at the time ages 2 months and 20 months) around in the Graco Duo Glider tandem stroller my husband and I decided to give another model a shot. The agony of the difficult maneuverability and stream...
Pros: Both children can face out; it is easy to use Cons: It is the width of a wheelchair
I have two children, ages 3 and 16months. When I was pregnant with our second child, we decided that a double stroller might be a good investment. So, we went to the local baby store and spent at least an hour pushing, folding and lifting all of their...
Pros: a 10 for this stroller: the good & the bad./ Cons: LISTED the GOOD and the BAD
OKay--the good and the bad....
It is true that it does not fit through some small areas in the store--like between clothes racks....but lets be realistic...Most of us with two small children do not take them shopping in areas like this....
Pros: Large baskets, great for storage Cons: Doesn't fit well thru doors
Our children were, at one point, all under age 3 (three kids) so we bought a double stroller, like the one pictured above. I loved the baskets underneath the seats, so I could store things under there, such as diaper bags, coats, shopping bags, etc....
Pros: easy to open, close, large shopping basket, good view for babies, fully recline for sleep Cons: Difficult to get into doors, impossible to use in the Mall
We bought the Graco Duo Rider when we found out that we were having twins. We wanted a stroller that fully reclined so that both babies could sleep, and that would give both babies a good view when they were awake. We have had the stroller for over a...
Pros: Steering, storage size, folds easily Cons: width only at the mall!
My own two boys are just 16 months apart. I knew that a double stroller was in our future, but when we began shopping, there weren't many to choose from! We began with a front to back double stroller. I can't remember the brand, but it was relatively...
Pros: Comfort, ease of use Cons: Width makes it difficult in stores with narrow aisles
When we first learned we were having twins I realized that our daughter's old single stroller would not serve anymore. A friend gave us her used Graco front-to-back stroller which worked well when our twin boys were tiny enough to fit in the back seat...
Pros: light, kids play and talk to each other, mobility Cons: wide space
I've used four different double strollers and still do. Graco's duo rider is my favorite!
Both seats recline to lying position which is great for my twins. The double baskets come in handy for a mom like me and certainly helps when I've got a...
Pros: light and easy to handle, abundant storage space Cons: awkward in small, narrow spaces
Before my twins were born, I had a front/back version of the Graco stroller that I found to be most convenient and a practical choice. However, after the twins came along, I quickly discovered another choice was necessary.
Pros: Light, convenient, affordable, safe. Cons: Wider than some store aisles.
I love this stroller! My children (B3 & G2) are only 16 months apart. It was a necessity to have a double stroller. I wanted each child the ability to stretch out and lie down without bothering the other, so I decided on the side-by-side, and I'm so...
Pros: Large baskets, Easy to maneuver Cons: Can be tricky to fold.
We purchased this stroller when I was pregnant with my twins 2 1/2 years ago. This has been a great stroller! It has 2 HUGE baskets underneath the seats for diaper bags and LOTS of shopping bags!
I have newborn twin girls, and the Duo-Rider is by far the best twin stroller for the money. It's lightweight, and BOTH seats fully recline (a feature not found on most twin strollers). The wheels are cheesy, but, that is minor....it get's around just...
Pros: light weight and large storage basket Cons: not too durable and fabric mildews
Well, this was the second stroller I purchased for my twin sons(11 mos. at the time.) The first one was a Graco as well and it was the DuoLXI, you can read my review there, but I liked Graco products and wanted to stick with what I liked. So I bought...
Pros: easy safe reliable well managed Cons: difficult through certain door ways

I replaced it with this one and have no regrets whatsoever. It is very lightweight...
Pros: Very versitile and easy to use Cons: Maybe a little wide for a couple of doors
I had my two youngest children 15 months apart. I wasn't sure how I was going to manage them in the store together, but I knew a double stroller would be a necessity. We looked at several different models. We looked at the ones where the children are...
Pros: Large storage and front view for both children. Cons: Too wide for most department store isles.
This stroller is only good if you are not planning to go shopping with it. As I found when we took our son and daughter (at the time ages 2˝ and 5 months) for a trip to the mall, it's nice and roomy. There is a lot of storage in the baskets they provide....
Pros: Easy to fold up, lots of extras! Cons: Doesn't fit in the washing machine
Having tried out several double strollers while pregnant, we decided on the Graco side by side model. After our twins were born, our decision has been proven to be the best one time and time again! This stroller handles like a breeze! I can easily drive...
Pros: Great Price and Easy to manuever Cons: Tricky getting through some doorways
The Graco Duo Rider has been a lifesaver for me! I have twin boys that are 2 years old and have used this stroller for everything. When I found out I was having twins I tested all of the strollers. I didn't care for the front to back strollers because of...
Pros: Easy to use, Compact, Stylish Cons: Fragile tires
My aunt purchased this product when she had twins 2 years ago. She bought it for the look and the quality. She liked the way that the seats both recline or sit up. We also like the net at the bottom. It holds so much. Diaper bags fit perfectly! We like...
Pros: both babies can recline (and be seen), affordable Cons: wide, on the heavy side, car seats don't fit in
When I first learned I was pregnant my husband and I decided we wanted a stroller/infant car seat "travel" system. I thought that was definitely the way we'd go. A couple months later, I learned there was not one baby, but TWO so our thinking...
Pros: durable, sturdy design Cons: the side by side is wide and won't fit everywhere
This stroller is great for anyone with two children, be it twins or a toddler and baby. There is no bad seat. Both children get to look at the sights and are not stuck staring at the back of a siblings head. Mom gets to look down and see both kids easily...
Pros: Comfortable seats, bumper bars, huge baskets Cons: Too wide for indoor use
Our children are 21 months apart and I had decided that I should only look at double strollers in the range of $250 Cad ($150 USD), as I wasn't too sure of how long I would need a double stroller.
Pros: Keeps both kids happy! Easy to steer and lightweight! Cons: ALmost impossible to wash fabric
After MONTHS Of taking my pregnant self, my 1 year old, and my poor husband to every baby store around, trying out all the diffrent strollers, I decided on this stroller.
I spent months debating the front and back or side by side issue. I...
Pros: Lightweight, roomy storage baskets, side-by-side seating Cons: Still big when folded, seats only recline to flat position.
I've been told there are "twin" strollers (strollers made for twins) and "double" strollers (strollers made for two). I believe this is a twin stroller.
I received this stroller as a baby shower gift. I was originally conflicted about which...
Pros: Both children can see. Loads of leg room, and no kicking!!!! Cons: No drink tray for adults. Basket made of plastic.
I bought this stroller used at a sale, so it didn't come with the arm rests, which I wouldn't have used anyhow because the children who ride in it are old enough to climb in and out by themselves. I used to just bring my single stroller when going out ...
Pros: easy to maneuver, large storage baskets, plenty of leg room to walk behind Cons: sun shade will not stay put, no cup holders
I've researched a lot of strollers and bought several also. I really like the Graco Duo Rider for our neighborhood walks with the children. The positives are the kids like the side by side feature so they can interact with eachother. First my toddler and...
Pros: Lightweight, big storage baskets Cons: Wide, takes up a lot of room when collapsed
I have put this stroller through a lot of abuse and it has stood up to it. I have used it for my twin sons and their older brother. The boys are almost three and five now. The twins ride in the seats and their brother usually stands on the front foot...
Pros: Will take a licken and keep on ticken Cons: takes up room in vehicle
We purchased this item because we found our family growing fast when we took in our nephew who was the same age as our daughter. A single stroller just was not doing the job. We test drove it before we bought it in a baby store, and I fell in love with...
Pros: Easy to Use and Lightweight Cons: Not Major Department Store friendly
When the thought of a double stroller purchase went through my mind i dreaded the even thought! They are either too long or too wide, i thought. I went to look at them and actually take one for a test drive. I first tested the front/back kind. I put...
Pros: Side By Side, recline seats Cons: BIG, hard to control

Pros: Relatively lightweight, lots of storage Cons: Nearly impossible to turn when kids get over 15 lbs each.

I haven't had any trouble getting it through doors, but if you're shopping in the mall and you see something off the main strip, fuggedaboutit! I've wiped out more...
Pros: Roomy compartments for your stuff, side-by-side so the kids aren't kicking the one in front of the other, Cons: Occasionally got stuck inbetween clothing aisles.
I purchased the Graco DuoRider after the birth of my son, when my daughter was just 17 months old.
It was great for taking in malls. I never had a problem getting through shop doors or my own house doors, it was just the right width. The only...
Pros: Fits two kids, nice patterns, lots of luggage space... Cons: Price, bulkiness, hard to fold down...

Pros: Washes up like a dream, one seat reclined doesn't affect the other, roomy storage basket, Seats fully recline, large sunroof. The handle is tall, Stroller folds up and can even fit in the front seat of my van and no fighting involved Cons: Not well equipped for rugged terrain. The canopy while generous flies back so easily with the smallest gust of wind. I really prefer the one handed seat reclining versus the two on this model If you don't recline the seat before folding stroller the tabs
Well I purchased this stroller so I would have a back-up stroller and to have a different seating arrangement for my twins as they travelled via strollers this year!
Ease of use: simply snaps open and closes easily too, just recline the...
I saw this is a catalog and had to have it for my kids. I thought what a great idea, a 2 seat stroller with no one having to sit in back, which is a problem with most kids, they all want to be up front.
Pros: A compact, sturdy, functional ,attractive looking stroller at a great price! Cons: Wide wheel base requires wheelchair sized doors and aisles.
Whenever I am out with my two kids one of the most asked questions I get is "where did you get that stroller?" After already trying the front and back models during my childcare provider days I had decided that it was not the kind for me....
Pros: Easy to open and close, inexpensive Cons: Wide
When we found out we were having twins, we were in shock. Then began the search for a stroller. I contacted as many twins groups as I could to pose the question, 'side by side or in-line'. After sifting through the pros and cons of both, I decided I...
Pros: Cheap, large basket Cons: poor design, not durable,
This stroller's poor design causes the stroller bar (and any attached toys) to hit the ground when being folded. I am not a clean freak but since this is your baby's mouth that will one day wrap itself around the bar and that is gross. Also it is way...
Pros: easy maneuvering, large baskets Cons: only reclines flat back.
I bought this chair because of an increase in the under-two's in my daycare this year. I wasn't crazy about the idea of a side-by-side, thought it would be too hard to maneuver. I'm glad I changed my mind. I had a front-to-back model before...
Pros: both babies get a front seat Cons: will not fit around clothing racks
I purchased this stroller for my twins and it has lived up to my expectations. It is very easy to fold and unfold. I wanted a side by side stroller so that both of my babies got a "front seat". I also wanted both babies to be able to...
Pros: large baskets, great handles for pushing, smooth ride Cons: sometimes too wide for doorways, not suitable for going shopping

Pros: Lots of underneath storage space and both children can see where they are going. Cons: Doesn't support weight it claims.
As the mother of twins I do not go ANYwhere without my double stroller. It is simply a necessity. Initially, I loved my Graco. It easily accommodated my two newborns with plenty of space and enough room underneath to store all the necessary stuff. I...
I loved this particular stroller mainly because of the ease of pushing it. It's an extremely light weight stroller. I'm sure all parents out there that have tried a duo stroller would agree that they usually weigh a ton. Then add the weight of two...
Pros: lightweight and easy to push Cons: too wide for some isles
When my second daughter was born, my first daughter was only 18 months old and still wanted to ride in the stroller, so we had to get a double stroller for them. After much shopping around, we decided on the Graco Duo Rider. It was one of the least...
Pros: Easy mover Cons: Visible scrapes 'cuz hits the ground
First, I LOVE this stroller. However, because of the wide width and weight, it is dang near impossible to open or close this stroller without the padded handles or padded front bars hitting the ground. I have contacted Graco and they let me know this was...
Pros: Easy to push, kids are comfortable Cons: Hard to fit in stores, jamming up
When I was pregnant with my second child I knew we would need a double stroller. Our first child would only be 26 months when we had our second. She is big for her age, but that does not mean she is more responsible. And let's face it, having a baby...
Pros: Price, Light weight, fully recline, easy to open Cons: Child facing away from you, poor quality wheels

Pros: Large storage basket, seats work independently Cons: maybe too wide for store aisles
I bought this stroller when I was expecting my second son. He is now 2 1/2 years old. My oldest will soon be 4. We don't use it as much since the oldest prefers to walk now.
We live in a "planned community" so our grocery store is...
Pros: Children can sit side-by-sit, big storage space below Cons: Too wide to navigate through department stores

Pros: Comfortable, Adjustable Cons: Wider than doors and aisles
I bought this stroller about 6 months ago. I have 2 children, and one is a tall four year old. The front to back strollers do not work for us, so I thought I would give this stroller a shot.

Pros: lightweight, smooth rider, gives kids they,re own space Cons: it can be hard going through stores sometimes.
I purchased this stroller at a toy store where I live about a month ago. I have 2 year old twins and this is my third stroller!!!! I really like this stroller because it gives each child they're own space, unlike a back to back stroller, which is what I...
Pros: lots of room for storage Cons: too bulky to store, and hard to get around in

Pros: Adjustable side-by-side seating, large baskets, Graco's Customer Care Cons: Wider than other strollers
This is the only Side-by-Side double stroller we've seen. We liked it a BUNCH, especially because of that: The kids got to sit together which makes rides more "conversational", and no one ever had to get stuck where it's harder to see...
Pros: Lots of storage, both kids can lay down, cover for both children Cons: The children can bother each other since they are next to each other
I have a 3 year old and a 10 month old and I love this stroller. I love that it is a side by side so that both of my children can see what is going on it from of them. Both seats lay down which is great so that both of my children can nap at the same...

Pros: Excellent. It is a Godsend for those with twins or 2 small children. Cons: Absolutely None!!

Pros: Easy to maneuver & fold up. Cons: Seat only reclines to 1 position.
I received this stroller as a gift when I was pregnant with twins. I have been very happy with it. It folds up easily, although it does take up a lot of room in the trunk of a car. The basket underneath is large enough to store a lot of shopping bags...
Pros: Lightweight and easy to use Cons: Find it is harder to maneuver then a front/back stroller
All in all this is a very good product. As parents of twins all I can say is thank god for twin strollers! The thought of having to take 2 strollers was not pleasant! I do find the it is harder to shop in stores with as compared to a front/back...
Pros: Takes a lot of beating Cons: Wheels squeak sometimes
We adopted our twins girls at 3 months old from Vietnam in 1999. We brought our new Graco Duo Rider double stroller across the world with us. Many people told us we were crazy to bring the stroller so far but it was a God send while we were there....
Pros: It has a very large basket. Cons: It is hard to fit through doorways.
We looked at hundreds of double strollers when we found out that I was pregnant with twins. We desided on the graco side by side, since most people that we knew recommended it. The stroller is great if you take the babies outside for a walk. They both...
Pros: Has more uses than just a stroller great if you have 3 children Cons: I could not find any
My graco duo stroller was purchased as a gift from my brothers when I was expecting my twins, I also have a daughter who was 2 yrs at time of birth. This stroller was a God send. You can take it anywhere yes yes yes it fits through the doorways. When the...
This stroller is an easy winner over all the other double strollers we had seen. It offers the advantages of easy accessibility to both children, large stow away baskets for trips to the mall or park and a comfortable grip. Not to mention how easy it...
Pros: reclining seats, large basket, removable seat covers, easily maneuvered, wears excellent Cons: doesn't fit down aisles of overcrowded stores
I bought the Graco duo rider because I was having twins and the front-to-back stroller bought for me was designed for an older child and infant. Since I needed the seats to accommodate children of the same age, the Graco duo rider fit my needs. I like...
Pros: Lightweight and easy to push Cons: sometimes to wide for stores
I received this stroller as a gift at my baby shower and loved it from the moment I saw it to the moment I used it. I love so many facts about it so let me list a few -
Pros: Inexpensive, folds easily, comfortable, large storage baskets which were easily accessible. Cons: Not as "nimble" as more expensive brands, squeaky wheels after a few uses, poor sun-shade.
We bought this stroller for a nanny share situation and picked it for it's price. We weren't sure how long we would need it for, or how much use it would really get.
Turns out the nanny loved to take walks, often two or three a day. The stroller held up to frequent use, showing little sign of wear (except for squeaky wheels). Our kids combined weight is now well over 45 pounds, and the stroller has become a bit more difficult to push. We decided to invest in a higher end double stroller with a different wheel base, more "features" and much more fluid, comfortable ride (for the pusher).
For the price though, I would recommend the Duo Rider for anyone interested in a side by side double stroller on a budget.
