I Have Never Stayed In A Bad Clarion

Pros:great service and big rooms
Cons:pricey unless you join choice hotel's guest privileges program

It's hard to write a review when you've found something you love, and frankly, I love Clarion Hotels. They are always nice, clean, with a courteous staff and good rates for nice rooms.

On a recent trip to New Orleans we stayed at the Clarion Grand Boutique. Our room was $90 a night with the Guest Privilegesprogram. We had a suite with a king bed, a mini bar, fridge, microwave and coffee maker (stocked with good coffee, too, not Farmer Brothers), a separate sitting room, a dressing room and a bathroom. The room service was from the gourmet neo-cuisine restaurant downstairs, and the waiters were fast with the food, too--none of that hour to hour and a half stuff just to get a meal.

If you are going somewhere new and want to most bang for your hotel buck, try a Clarion and see for yourself.
