Angels and Demons:Review by davidwclarke  Pros: Whether you read the book or not you will not be disappointed.
Cons: The missing CERN storyline limits the emotional connection with the characters. I purchased Angels and Demons on Blu-Ray disc. I bought this sequel to the Da Vinci code because I enjoyed the books by Dan Brown. I have to say that the book is much better than the movie which is usually true but i enjoyed this movie better than the Da Vinci Code film. The Blu-ray disc adds so much to any action/adventure film. The true HD experience is beyond compare with regular DVD's. The screenplay is a little different from the book, Ron Howard opted out of alot of the CERN storyline and a few other minor changes. The acting in this particular film is much more realistic than the Da Vinci Code. Tom Hank's portrayal of Robert Langdon is actually believable in this film.

A Movie for the Family by angel_82 Pros: Has something for the whole family.
Cons: Some of the humor is a little adult, and may offend some people. I have two kids, and they are at the age where they want to watch the same movie over and over again. Lucky for me they have chosen this movie to be the never ending feature. I don't mind watching this movie over again, because it is entertaining for adults and children. The humor in it has everyone laughing, and quoting the movie later. It has a pretty good story and the animation is great. I am a big fan of Dreamworks animation.

Cons: everything else Jewish girl marrying a witch doctor instead of a rich doctor. LOL but Hathaway is the star here with her "12 steps" life regrets addicts guilt etc etc. She's just out of a rehab stint peeing in the cup etc. She wonders why noone trusts here DUH you "Chappaquidicked" your baby brother Beeyotch while high on percs! She even does the longest wedding toast in history-not a toast to her sister- a littany of past sins and confessions as part of her therapy. In a nail salon a fellow rehab traveller is sympathetic to her past stories of Uncle Incest-which peeves her family b/c it is a total Lie!

Great book! by erin23 Pros: Very funny and honest.
Cons: Can't think of any. This is by far one of the best books I've read. I got this book as a gift for Christmas (which was four months before I got pregnant). When I found out I was pregnant I started reading this. Being a first time mom, I had never heard of some of the things that could happen! No one wants to talk about the "embarrassing" parts of pregnancy or giving birth. I was glad I read it and will most likely read it again just for fun. This is a must read!

Not a bad game by dennissaginaw Pros: Smooth graphics
Exciting storyline Intuitive objectives Cons: Takes a long time to win the game. This was not a bad a bad game. The graphics are decent and the game play was pretty smooth. I would say that for younger players, they will enjoy it and get a lot of entertainment out of it. In addition, the character (Lara) is just like the character in the books and the movies. She has the same characteristics and will be instantly recognizable. The viloence in the game is moderate, and I would say anyone under 13 years of age probably should not play this game.

With that, the game is going to provide good entertainment for players of all ages and demogroahics. It takes a long time to play the complete game and will require about 40hrs of game play time for players with experience in this type of game genre. |

A Legit Book by mastermind14 Pros: the pros of this book is it goes into detail about his life and such..
Cons: the cons of this book is really not much considering the fact that he never I can start off by saying this book is GREAT. THIS IS AN ENCOURAGING BOOK. this can really help alot of kids who has suffered what dav did and for him not to be ashamed to talk about his life and put it in a book to where the whole world to read and see is encouraging!!!

Heart-warming film by chrissyisabel Pros: Great movie. Good story behind it. Worth Watching. Good family movie.
Cons: If you aren't really into sad movies, or chick movies, I wouldn't reccomend watching this. I really enjoyed "My Sister's Keeper". It is a very heart-warming film. Good actors, in my opinion. Good story behind it. I thought it was a really good movie, best one I had seen so far in 2009. I would reccomend this movie to a friend or family member.

Amazing book! by chrissyisabel Pros: Very interesting. Very useful, very helpful, very enjoyable to have. Affordable. A "MUST HAVE"
Cons: I did not find any cons about this book. May not be suitable for everyone. I am a big fan of Sylvia's work. I have read many of her books, and this one is another outstanding one. I would reccomend this book to whoever believes in spirituality, and the other side. After reading the few four pages of the first chapter, I was hooked. And with her books, that's how it always has been. I love this book, it is very interesting, and very enjoyable to read. If you are a skeptic, and a non believer of the other side, and such topics that she discusses, than this book is certainly not for you. But even if you are, maybe reading one of her books can change your points of views. "Psychic Healing: Using the Tools of a Medium to Cure whatever Alis You" is one of the best books I have read this year.

Cons: This book is not for those who do not believe in such a topic. "Visits from the Afterlife: The Truth about hauntings, spirits, and reunions with lost loved ones" By. Sylvia Browne is one of the most outstanding books I have ever read. This book is not for everyone, however, if you believe in the paranormal, and ghosts, and spirits, than this book is definiatly for you. Sylvia Browne is a great author, I enjoy many of her books, but this one would have to be my favorite. I would definitaly reccomend this book to a friend, or a family member.

One Of The Best From A Great Band by rabinette Pros: Great Authentic Jump Blues! Sugar Ray Norcia's Vocal's
Cons: None After 30 years there are a lot of Roomful of Blues Albums. Most of them are good. This one is great. After a short hiatus from recording they returned with a new guitarist, Chris Vachon and a new piano player, Matt McCabe. But the Star of this album is vocalist / harp player Sugar Ray Norcia. Norcia blows some great harp on Little Walter's "Up The Line" and other tunes but it's his vocals that make this album stand out from the rest. Listen to their version of Ray Charles' "Hey Now" and tell me that Sugar Ray isn't the BEST white blues singer alive. Vachon has the unenviable position of replacing Ronnie Earl on guitar and steps up quite well. Check out the funky instrumental "Back On Front Street".I believe the CD is out of print but it can be downloaded in a number of places.

pretty funny movie by laceejohnson Pros: good cast
Cons: I thought too much nudity, but probably not if ur a guy. LOL I would suggest this movie if you want a few good laughs and aren't opposed to some nudity and some language. What else would you expect though, with Jeremy Piven? I really think that he makes this movie because he's just that guy. He throws himself into the character and you actually don't think of Jeremy Piven-Entourage at all during the movie. There are a few parts that if you are racially sensitive that you would find offensive, if that's you then DON'T WATCH THIS MOVIE. This movie is funny and a good time movie.

B.B. At His BEST!! by rabinette Pros: Great, great guitar playing. Good Songs. Great Vocals.
Cons: Nothing This album combines a live recording on one side (I guess sides are irrelavent these days) and a studio recording on the other. B.B.'s guitar playing is at it's absolute best on this album. You can watch his playing evolve from his albums from the 50s and 60s. In my opinion this is B.B. Fully evolved. Listen to My Mood or this version of Sweet Little Angel to understand my point.

A Fabulous Album by rabinette Pros: Great, great guitar playing throughout.Some very sophisticated band arrangements.
Cons: A few 60's style clunkers. This is a compilation of instrumental songs by B.B. King mostly recorded in the '60s. There are a few clunkers, but the good tunes are so good the make up for everything. You can hear the "signature licks" of Bloomfield, Clapton, Green et. al. in this album. My personal favorite is "Slippin' and Slidin' " - A slow swing tune with full band arrangement. B.B.'s ability to play in and around the orchestra is amazing.

The First Real Blues Album I Ever Owned by rabinette Pros: Pioneering "white" Blues Album. The opportunity to hear future heroes in their formative years.
Cons: Dated Sounds. A Little amateurish in comparison to later work. I wore the grooves off this LP back in 1967 or 68 (whenever). It opened the whole world of blues to me. And I am still one of the biggest fans of Michael Bloomfield and Paul Butterfield. Unfortunately, this album doesn't hold up on the test of time. Butter's vocals are thin compared to later albums, the Vox Organ is...well, and Bloomfield's guitar playing is at such a formative stage. It doesn't really display any of the amazing style and taste of his later recordings. Still deserves 3 stars for where they were and when.

Plot Julie and Julia is a movie set in two different times and places. Julia is old and lives in France in the 1950's. Julie is younger and lives in New York in 2002. Julia is learning how to be a chef and later accomplishes the task. Julie is some kind of comfort person for people to call and she blogs about her experience of cooking out of Julia Childs cookbook. It's a pretty easy movie to follow, and it never gets to the point. It beats around the bush and never ends. If you are old and enjoy your leisure time, you'd adore this movie. If you your life is purposeful and if you have tasks to complete. Don't watch this movie. |

Cons: Not enough Della Reese. Beauty Shop has achieved the highest level of American artistic avant-garde. The core premise is as captivating as an old man returning soup at a deli. Despite the titular similarity to Barber Shop, I believe the lessons here run much deeper.

Bravo, Bille Woodruff. You have again outdone yourself. Gina's quest for independence is synonymous with the American dream. She has broken out on her own and achieved....not a small feat for a woman of her social status. Quen Latifah's performance was as riveting as her display in the U.N.I.T.Y. music video and as believable as her role of Khadijah in Living Single. Overall, I would recommend buying this movie, but at the very least, rent it. It will not be regretted! |

Cons: It had a few chapters that were a little slow. I was surprised by the nature of the book. It was a candid look at what life could have been like for the real Mrs. Capt. Ahab. I was skeptical for the first few chapters but after that, it went fast because of the quality of the story. My husband liked it, too but he was wishing for more of the Moby Dick stories..

Great machine after a few re-tweeks! by jack_savage Pros: Sample & arrange audio with ease
Cons: comes with virtually no built in memory. Akai o/s sucks. JJ o/s recommended. the Akai MPC2500 is an excellent little piece of music production hardware, that makes sample based music composition a breeze (once you figure it all out, which admittedly took me a couple of months.)

the akai operating system will only allow for importing one file at a time, whereas the jj operating system will allow you to upload all your samples in one foul swoop, (providing you purchase a large enough compact flash card!) saving you hours of boredom. (i learned the hard way.) you also have the ability to directly record from any audio source and assign it to the sample trigger pads in any order you wish, or you can upload a single sample and have the mpc chop it up into divided sections or loops, which you can tweek to your liking. i recommend trying to find a decent priced second hand model, as the mpc2500 is moderately overpriced. |

Cons: Bad special effects and lousy education. Need I say more? Certainly one of the year's worst film. Just a pink dinosaur who looks like a hippo, and a bunch of little actor kids. If you had my advice, you would avoid this film at all costs. And If you want your kids to have an educational movie night you should steer clear of this movie. reat dictionary for your eyes. by khaney46 Pros: You can see the words so clearly and even from a distance.
Cons: nothing. This Michael E. Agnes and Michael Agnes - Webster's New World Large Print Dictionary is great for everyone. I attend on-line classes at the University of Phoenix, and could not use the regular dictionary because I have eye problems. I can see these words very clearly because the words are printed so fine and large. No more squinting for me.
