Your review must be submitted as a product review comparison of two or more products (Example:A review comparing the iPhone5 vs. the Samsung Galaxy S3) or a Mother's Day Gift Guide. Your review must have an overall rating of "Helpful". Express reviews are not eligible.
To complete the submission of your review as a Write-Off entry, you must register the review before the end of the submission period. You need to individually register each review you want to count as an entry. Reviews that meet the above criteria but are not properly registered will not be considered as entries.

Dear Epinions Members,
We want to give you all a quick update on the upcoming changes to the Income Share Algorithm. We are going to temporarily remove the 5 year expiration for the next process that will take place on February 15th. In the months to come we will continue to make changes to the algorithm to ensure a fair distribution of Income Share.
We value our members and your contributions to the site, so we are offering a one-time fix for members that have deleted a bulk of their reviews. If you would like your deleted reviews restored, please email Christal.

Dear Epinions members,
Thank you for being patient with us while we implemented the New Incentives Program. We appreciate all of your suggestions and feedback.
Here’s the latest on the New Incentives Program:
- Thanks to your feedback, we are working on revising the new formula for Income Share. We understand that change isn't easy, but changes to the Income Share process are necessary for Epinions as a business.
- Deleting and reposting reviews for the sake of gaming Income Share is not allowed. Members who do this will be issued tickets. If it continues, members will be removed from the website.
- We will start to have monthly bug fix releases starting in early February. After each release, we will share which bugs have been fixed on the website.

The New Incentives Program has been redesigned to distribute Income Share to active members writing quality reviews. If you are an active member that contributes quality reviews, you will reap the benefits of the Income Share Program. The earnings page will include a clearer distribution of Income Share distributed on a monthly basis based on activity and pageviews. We have also changed the earnings threshold from $10 to $5. If you have at least $5 in eroyalties in your account each month, you will receive a PayPal Payment from us.
With these new changes, our hopes are to foster and grow the Epinions Community. We appreciate each and every member’s contributions to the site.

New Incentives Program

In the last year we have been working very hard on making improvements to the Epinions website. The next big project we will be releasing is a New Incentives Program.
The New Incentives Program will include some really cool features that members have been asking for:
- Automatic PayPal Payments
- A more detailed earnings page
- Automated Income Share Distribution
You will notice that there is now a PayPal Email Address field located on your Member Info page. Members must have a PayPal account and this field must be filled out in order for you to receive your eroyalty payments. More details on how to open a free PayPal account can be found here: How to open a PayPal Account.
Your earnings will soon be delivered to you via PayPal. Not only will this new feature be saving trees, it will also allow you to receive your earnings faster. If you still have an existing balance in your account, you will have until January 10, 2013 to redeem that balance. The redemption of the existing balance will be the last payment sent out by check. After that, we will no longer issue payments by check.
