Treat others with respect
Epinions is a site made up of real people with a right to their own opinions. Use your words to build, not to tear down, and help us make Epinions a vibrant and lively place for all.
Moderate your content
Please write appropriately, with the aim of helping others by sharing information on things you may like, love, or don't like so much and would like other consumers to avoid.
Publish your own content
Respect the copyright of others. We want to hear your voice, not anyone else's! Write honestly, write based on personal experience and don't take anyone else's opinions or writing as your own.
Be part of the Community!
Help people make better buying decisions by sharing your opinions. Meet new people and gain new perspectives. Discover you love something you may never have considered.
Promote your content
We encourage our community to promote their content. Share your reviews via Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and or on your personal blogs. By linking, you can help send traffic to your page and grow your network!
We ask that you please refrain from doing the following:
Don't upload anything that isn't yours
This type of behavior warrants account termination.
Don't post the following types of content
- Content that contains vulgarity, hate speech or threats of violence
- Content that contains contact or personal information about another individual without their permission
- Content that includes pornography
- Content that is reasonably likely to offend a person looking for information on that product or topic

Don't use the site to promote your personal agenda
Epinions is built for people to help each other with decisions, trade ideas, and discuss life stories. Don't bring this down by harassing or abusing members. We all know how one well-timed irresponsible posting can start a comment war or offend the whole community, and we all know how much we want to avoid that. Please control yourself. We won't babysit you. However, if we receive a valid complaint about your conduct, we'll send you a warning, but if you continue with this type of behavior, your account will be terminated.
Don't use Epinions for commercial purposes
If we find you spamming or using the site to sell your products or services, we will terminate your account.
