Epinions Update: Product Catalog Migration

Dear Epinions Community,
We have exciting news to share with you in regards to the product catalog. To streamline our business as an eBay Inc. company, we will soon be leveraging eBay’s robust product catalog across our portfolio of sites.
How does this benefit the community?
• Millions of new products will be available for our community to review
• No waiting for products to be added using the ‘Suggest a Product’ feature
• A comprehensive product catalog that includes 3x more Books, Movies, and Music
With this change, we will be retiring the ‘Suggest a Product’ feature. There will be changes for a few categories. Hotels & Travel, Restaurants, Cars & Motorsports, and Online Stores & Services will operate within its existing product catalog. These categories cannot be supported by the eBay Team at this time. New products and listings will be unavailable for these categories.
We see the catalog migration as a positive step in the right direction. Our hopes are that by adding more products to the catalog, our members will be able to easily locate the products they wish to review. We will continue to share the progress with the migration in the days to come, so please stay tuned for more details.

Your review must be submitted as a product review comparison of two or more products (Example:A review comparing the iPhone5 vs. the Samsung Galaxy S3) or a Mother's Day Gift Guide. Your review must have an overall rating of "Helpful". Express reviews are not eligible.

Dear Epinions Members,
We want to give you all a quick update on the upcoming changes to the Income Share Algorithm. We are going to temporarily remove the 5 year expiration for the next process that will take place on February 15th. In the months to come we will continue to make changes to the algorithm to ensure a fair distribution of Income Share.
We value our members and your contributions to the site, so we are offering a one-time fix for members that have deleted a bulk of their reviews. If you would like your deleted reviews restored, please email Christal.

Dear Epinions members,
Thank you for being patient with us while we implemented the New Incentives Program. We appreciate all of your suggestions and feedback.
Here’s the latest on the New Incentives Program:
- Thanks to your feedback, we are working on revising the new formula for Income Share. We understand that change isn't easy, but changes to the Income Share process are necessary for Epinions as a business.
- Deleting and reposting reviews for the sake of gaming Income Share is not allowed. Members who do this will be issued tickets. If it continues, members will be removed from the website.
- We will start to have monthly bug fix releases starting in early February. After each release, we will share which bugs have been fixed on the website.
