Epinions Rating Guidelines for Reviews The Epinions Rating Guidelines are here to help you understand what each rating means and how they are given out. Ratings for Long Reviews (reviews containing more than 200 words) *Most Helpful: The review stands out from all other reviews of the same product as the best review. This rating can only be given by Epinions Advisors and Category Leads and should only be used if there is more than one review on the product/topic/service. *Very Helpful: The review is exceptionally accurate and well presented. It offers in-depth experiences and details on the subject. The review is thorough and well-organized. *Helpful: The review is well presented with helpful details about the product/service/topic and is helpful to the overall recommendation to shoppers. *Somewhat Helpful: The review is on-topic and offers shoppers some detail about the product/service/topic. The review may have minor writing or presentation problems, but does not violate the site rules. *Not Helpful: The review has no detail, opinion, or personal experiences provided. The review is overwhelmed by writing errors and inaccuracies. The review is offensive, contains Spam, or is copied from another source and breaks the site rules. *Off Topic: The review is posted under the wrong subject. Ratings for Express Reviews and Surveys (reviews containing less than 200 words) *Show: Express reviews should be rated Show if it is on-topic and does not violate the site rules. *Don't Show: Express reviews should be rated Don't Show if it is off-topic, contains profanity or otherwise violates the site rules. |
