new mosquito trap

I would like to introduce very new type of mosquito trap which is applied new technologies with non-toxic and highly effective performance.
-decoying mosquitoes by 3 enticements, co2(which is generated from photocatalysis with tio2), near ultraviolet rays and heat by fluorescent lamps (mosquitoes like these)
-once the mosquitoes comes to this machine,a strong ventilator captures them into a steel net through the inhaling fan.
-captured mosquitoes can't escape from the net, where they dehydrate and die
-no need to change or refill Co2,because tio2 can produce co2 semi-permanently.
-application,outdoor and indoor
-small amount of AC power(28w)-size 250mmx300mm
-Quiet,no zapping
best regard

Please don't post spam in the thread, otherwise I'm going to have to delete the whole thread.

RE: Mosquito Magnet

Hi, I had a mosquito magnet a few years back which worked well for the first season then refused to start up the next year. They wanted me to send it back for repairs and it was going to cost me quite a bit to get it fixed (outside of warranty).

So I did some research and came across Megacatch traps - anyone else heard of them?

I purchased their ultra and it worked great once I found the right settings. I did have an issue with the power supply which failed almost immediately (apparently a bad batch) but their customer support was so good - I had a replacement within a few days with a few extra octenol lures thrown in for free.

Also, they are very easy to repair yourself, no sending back to the manufacturer - they send you the parts with instructions on how to install.

This year it has been great - no problems at all so far.

While I don't see a topic for the Mega-Catch Traps here on Epinions if you were to drop a note to one of the Home and Garden Category Leads, I'm sure they could have it added to the database. I'd love to see a review of it - to see how it works and if it is worth it.
