RE: Corsicana Mattress
Hello,
Thank you so much for posting your opinion about the Corsicana Royal Heritage mattress. I was just about to purchase a much in the same way you got yours and I'm so sorry to read about the trouble you've had. I was planning on meeting someone tomorrow (at his warehouse in Salem, OR)
By any chance is that where you got yours? How is your new, upgraded mattress working out by the way?
Thanks,
Donna |

Elegant Rest by Corsicana
I have had my King size mattress set for 3 years. I've kept a nice waterproof mattress cover on it since I bought it. My husband and I are tall, so we aren't super light. I have had my kids sleep with us when they were babies too. We have no issues with our mattress. We love it! I do see where I need to keep weight off the sides though...a common problem for any mattress. We spent over a thousand dollars, so that could be why I am so happy with my bed. You get what you pay for! Does anyone else have the same bed?
Before this bed we had a queen size Serta pillow top. It only lasted 2 years! It was awful! Never again will I buy Serta. I will stick with Corsicana... |

Desiree,
This sounds like a great item to write a full review on. Why not give it a go.

Verlo Mattress
We were in the market for a new mattress and visited our local Verlo store in McHenry Illinois. The owner/salesman that we dealt with was Ray Westman. Ray was very helpful in the process by explaining our options and working within our budget. Ray even went a step further in giving us a quick tour of the factory and showed us just how our mattress would be built. Our three children enjoyed the tour and left the store with a real understanding of just how things work when you buy something at a store. Many thanks to Ray and all he brings to his store. I would tell anybody to go see Ray anytime. He made the process easy. |

RE: mattress from Corsicana
Sure Corsicana mattresses have the same springs the other brands have! The difference is in the quality or grade of foam they use-the cheapest! Price is not everything. |

corsicana
corsicana is the worst beddind manufacture in the u.s. I'm on my 4th set in 16 month's I have returned 3 sets of the 30th anniversary because of sagging. I was given a reps. replacement today which is not compatable to my pillowtop 2 sided set if not satisfied I will be taking the actual store to court |

good, better, best
I own a mattress store and can confirm that Corsicana Bedding is a great company to do business with. The product line, when comparing apples to apples, is the best value hands down; in addition, the customer service and warranty systems are excellent. Corsicana is run like a fine tuned military machine and they provide a stressless platform for bedding and furniture dealers, making it easy to get warranty issues resolved for everyone including the consumer.
Corsicana is the 7th largest mattress manufacturer in the country and are just beginning to service the Northeast. This will propel them to a top five contender. A company just can't grow that big that quickly without doing a great amount of things right!
As to the complaints posted, I will say that all bedding companies produce good, better, and best models. There isn't one company that I know of which hasn't had innumerous complaints similar to the ones' posted below. There are varying degrees of quality in every company's lineup and I have witnessed this issue with all of them. Consumers need to educate themselves as best they can but understand that a wide spectrum exists. If something does go wrong, I can honestly say that Corsicana takes care of the problem promptly.

RE: good, better, best
I could not agree more. It's an old saying "you get what you pay for". the easiest way to judge the quality of a mattress is the warranty. the longer the warranty the better the quality. to break down warranty: 1 year good luck; 5 years feels new 2-3 years; 10 years feels new 5-7 years; 15 years feels new 10-12 years; 20 years feels new 15-17 years. in the remaining portion of the warranties the beds will start to loose that new feeling, show signs of wear and tear, but not be enough to be considered a warranty issue. i've read through all the post, most of the people sounded angry because they received bad customer service from the store where they bought their mattress. yes they may have gotten a faulty mattress, but replacing and exchanging is easy with the proper customer service. you should do your home work on who you are buying your bed from. ask them before you buy: is there a comfort guarantee? is there a lowest price guarantee? do you service all warranties for your customers in house? ask for the detail on those promises. do you have to the keep the bed a certain amount of nights before you can do a comfort exchange? is there a restocking fee? for the lowest price guarantee does it have be the exact same mattress or one of similar quality? for a warranty service is there a delivery charge(i can tell you every one will charge you)? are these promise in writing? people frequently say they are going to get a lawyer when they get poor customer service. why?! general speaking you will spend more to win your case that you could receive in retribution. the truth of the matter is it is buyer beware. always ask questions. a sales person will always be willing to tell you what promises his company offers. unless they offer none. mattresses are still largely put together by human hands, humans are not perfect, mistakes can be made. generally if a bed is going to have a problem it happens with-in the first 3 months. if it doesn't sag with in that time period, usually you're good. for those of you who have problems with your corsicana bed they are simply the easiest company to deal with when it comes to warranty. generally speaking they will take a bed back as long as it doesn't look like it has been dragged threw the parking lot. i find they will take a bed back no questions asked whether it's a warranty issue or not. i will tell you they take it back from a store no questions asked, you personally might find it a little more difficult. from a business perspective, stores buy hundreds a beds a week, you buy one every ten years, the store will receive the best customer service. so make sure you buy from a good store, know what options you have if your not happy with your product, and remember you get what you pay for. |

Corsicana
I have been selling mattresses for five years now. Four at a big, national company and one at a small company. I have to say that Corsicana is one of the best brands out there. The national standard for warranty issues are any sag over 1.5 inches. Sounds like most of the issues y'all are having are with the retailers. |

Warranty VS Life of Mattress:
Consumers should not expect the length of the "warranty" to dictate how long a mattress will last. I am a retailer and in my experience some of the poorest built mattresses on the market have the longest warranty. I have seen off brand sets with 30 year warranty on them. This is just over promising and under delivering. The realistic life span of an average mattress is 6 to 10 years. The materials used in all mattresses will naturally break down over time. It is unrealistic to think that this will not happen. Every manufacturer has a different warranty-some better than others. The real research you will want to do is on the store you buy it from-because the fact is the warranty will be serviced through them-not directly with the manufacturer. Go into buying a mattress with open eyes-buy the mattress that is best for you not what is "the best deal". |

Corsicana
Hi I bought a new mattress and boxspring for about 700 today from a warehouse. The bed came vacuumed sealed in a box. When the guy delivered the set, the bed was about 3 inches short of the box spring. I called and asked the company and he said its so the memory foam doesn't sag. When I asked about the height of the mattress, he said it would take up to 72 hour for the foam to rise. It is suppose to be a 10" corsicana bed. Right now its about 9inches. I tried to look on the bed for the mattress type but all I see is on the mattress cover is advanced urthane technologies. No where on the mattress does it say corsicana.. only the box spring. Can anyone confirm their mattress says corsicana? and that the mattress covers the length of the box spring? Its short about 3 inch either on the foot or head of the bed. |

RE: Corsicana Mattress
Can anyone tell me which Corsicana mattress this is and if it is on their website? I am trying to figure out which "style" of Corsicana mattress I have. I don't see a "style number" or any number of the format 000-0 like posted by mommyowp like on their website. It is labeled:
"3500KPMD: 6/6 Sovereign PT Matt"
"Pryor w/gold Sovereign pt".
"Label :FR1012, List:87TX, Code:B(warranty level), Load"0096743"
It is a king size. There is one other label on it that simply reads: "Royal Heritage Collection", but the pillow top stitching looks much different than the heritage models I saw. I took a picture of the label.
Thank you
Here is a link to the pic of my label.
