CHASE TELEMARKETING?

Received, an automatic bill for 99.99...Unapproved charge on my Chase bill?...

Seems a licensee of Chase is mining and billing "virtually dormant" accounts in an attempt to "keep their numbers jacked up"...The goods and services being billed were gift coupons? I am sure it is perfectly legal...Really?

A few state attorney generals should look into this one...I feel the target market for this scam is probably senior citizens...

Chase Sucks sooo bad

Well, like everyone here...I got charged rediculous late fee even though I call the rep the day before it's due to confirm that I won't be charge and the AH rep refuse to waive the fee. After speaking to the Supervisor, I got no way...as a way to F*&&& Chase, every time a get a credit card application from them, I filled it with junks so in their pre-paid envelop. Let see how they like that...CHASE SUCK!!!

Ok chaserep read this !!!!

I always send my payment in five days early with never a late fee and all of a sudden after five years of making my payment on time I get my next bill in the mail saying it was a day late with a late fee of $39 so I called your customer service and they would absolutly not reverse the fee and my next bill had the until the balance is paid in full rate of 3.9% raised to 7.9%!!! I don't care what you say I think it was purposely dated a day late so you could get out of the 3.9% deal you gave me because your company was very irresponsible for sending all of those checks out to people with bad credit and now it is costing you because they are not paying their bills and you are making your good customers pay for your past mistakes.I just closed the account and sent payment in full and you will never get another penny from me again.BTW,your customer service was very rude !!! The only customers you will have left are the ones that won't pay on their account, all of the customers with good credit like myself will be long gone !!!! Also ,you can bring this up at your next meeting !!!

Sending out checks

I know of several people that had checks sent out to them
that did not even have a job and cashed them anyway, don't you people at Chase check these people out first.Dah !!!
If the person has nothing to start with then you can take nothing from them.I watch the news and know that credit card companies like yourself are working overtime trying to collect from these people.I moved everything over to my credit union, they are a more of a home town type bank that will actually notify you or cover the payment if it is ever late and I have been using them for years and have never been charged a single late fee !!! The only reason I got a Chase card is because Buy.com gave me $25 of my first order.Never Again !!! I hate being ripped off and treated like i am the bad guy.I thought that past customer loyalty actually ment something. Not with Chase !!!

Customer loyalty ????

I really could care less about other peoples credit sinerios,I stated after making five years of payments on time it seemed kind of odd that I had mailed a payment the same time I do every month and was told it arrived a day late and was charged a $39 late fee and had my (till the balance is paid off rate of 3.9% raised to 7.9% with no way of reversing it.I simply transfered a balance to Chase with a low rate check and never charged anything on the card for years, just paid the balance down.A call to the Attorney Generals office will be next, you people seem to be doing this to more and more of your customers, the word is out and these preditory lending practices will be dealt with by the feds !!!

Like i said !!!

Like I said,no home town bank atmosphere from Chase, just more errogant jestures towards it's own customers. You must have been the top of your class when you went to their customer support training because you sound like the rest of your reps,or maybe you are the instructor ???? These responses just confirm how desperate your company must be to try to save face.Your profit charts must really be heading south that you have to make up the difference with your good paying customers.Your staff meetings must really be something when you reprogram your reps for fund recovery control tactics.Don't tell me they have you working weekends to respond and try to control this thread in your favor, you guys really crack me up.Maybe you'll think harder next time you irresponsibly mass mail checks across America.

RE: Chase yourself into debt.

"chaserep" I'd probably also have to try to justify everything if I had sold my soul to a company like you have. I know you are just "doing your job" and you can justify all you want but anyone who follows evil is just as evil as those giving the order and what Chase is doing to people already struggling is nothing short of evil, not business as usual. Pass this on to all you work with because they are in the same boat.

RE: Chase yourself into debt.

Chaserep, "It's a job, I have to support my family too" I wonder how many Nazi's said the same thing? A man with any kind of conscience could not support, enforce, or justify such policies when such policies are contributing to a multitude of secondary consequences, i.e. divorce, substance abuse, medication skipped due to lack of money, and probably much worse, every action has a consequence! Granted these people for the most part got themselves into the mess, but while many could pull themselves out with a lesson learned the hard way at 9.9% a interest rate of 25% is insurmountable for most, and all in the name of corporate greed. This country is going down the tubes big time mostly because corporations of all types no longer care what they do to this country and the people in it as long as there is a profit in it. Rape and pillage mentality.

"All it takes for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing"-Thomas Jefferson.

Don't throw away those offers!!!!

I am now (almost) plastic free. I had almost 35,000 in credit card debt with my wife. Only about 1500 left. I can't tell you how good it feels. Like getting your life back. Check out PBS Frontline "The secret history of credit cards" You can view it online. Anyway, what I do with all those credit card applications in the mail.... And I collect all of my families and friends applications they get in the mail.... Save those grocery coupons and subscription offers. Fill the return envelope (at their expense) with a nice offer for a discount mattress and drop it in the mail. I just love doing it. I send hundreds of them a month. Its called "F*** you you lousy B******s!!! BTW, Chase was THE worst customer service of all my cards. I turned on these companies after they decided to DOUBLE my interest rates because I made a couple of late car payments. Ironically those payments were late so I could pay my credit card bills. Now I'm finally getting the last laugh.... :>:>:>

RE: re.

Chaserep, You're right I should have focused on the correct issue. These individuals got themselves into the mess at 9.9% so they start struggling and instead of reducing credit limits Chase increases them and once those are topped out Chase more than doubles their interest rate. Not good business, not sound business, Does Chase offer these individuals any sort of solution? No! Surely they would rather have these individuals pay up and not default? Or do they not really give a damn?

chaserep

You are correct that these people did it to them selves however,I personally don't like to carry a balance but have a daughter in College and am paying for out of pocket
but am almost credit card debt free and have excellent credit. The big problem with alot of people that are in trouble because they live way over their means !!! They spend more than their income can cover and can never pay the principal down and just pay the interest to CC companies and get frusterated.I don't care about status driving the newest car having the newest clothes, buying the latest gagets like video games and cell phones, all of this junk is pretty much worthless once you buy it but you still have to pay for it.I went out shopping on Black Friday and was in a dept store where people where lined up to buy flat panel TV's on special and one lady went to put one on her CC and the salesman said the card was no good and she said here try this card. This is telling me that the card is already maxed out and the lady is living way above her means and has no business buying a TV in the first place. My advice,if you don't absolutly need it don't buy it !!!!

RE: chaserep

Agree with most of what you said but back to what I said before, that most people could recover with 9.9% but not with a 25 or 29.9%. Sounds to me like Chase not only is kicking them when they are down they are trying to force them into bankruptcy and for frivolous reasons such as carry too much debt. You are also wrong to assume all are out buying themselves "flat screen tv's" Many if not most slowly accumulate debt because their paycheck doesn't always cover all the bills due to unexpected expenses such as medical or auto problems increased costs to commute, ect. Tell me where it makes sense to raise interest rates because they are carrying too much debt? That's not only is wrong it is just plain evil. Why not stop their credit and tell them to pay up before they can use the account again? Most people want to maintain their credit score and pay their debts. Chase is just out right screwing these people! I could not and would not work for them unless I could undermine their policies and help people resolve their problems in fact I hope congress screws them right back in the near future.
P.S. Thanks for serving this country oversees!
