where are all the beauty reviewers?
Come on guys! My alerts have dwindled down to like just 3 reviews a day. I've been waiting to see what everyone thinks of the LUSH Discon stuff...

I've been working 60+ hours a week and haven't had time to write lately. There's a LOT going on at work. I'm lucky to keep up with reading and rating!
I also don't have my discon stuff yet. I won't have it until next Saturday.
I have a TON of reviews to write! I'm exhausted from work all week and spent today just laying on the couch staring at the TV (after I went to Best Buy and the grocery store). BF kept asking me all day "What's wrong?" - he thinks that people with desk jobs should be energetic ALL the time because we don't do anything physical (he has a semi-physical job). He doesn't understand that mental exhaustion is worse sometimes than physical exhaustion! |

We are embarking on our cross-country move within the next few days, so I'm going to be scarce for the next several weeks!
I don't plan on reviewing any of my discon stuff, but I really really really really like the LUSH Lime. :) I haven't tried anything else yet! |

I'm still around too. Just kind of burned out, in a funk and not in the mood for writing. Been doing a lot of reading and laying around on the couch and working lots of hours. I need to get some more reviews in this month as I've only got just a handful. The one good thing about winter is that I tend to write more so hopefully I'll snap out of this, this, whatever it is and get in the groove soon. |

Sorry - been quite overwhelmed with the local school system. No, we can NOT have different interpretations of an IEP. No, missing recess is NOT okay. No, missing the proper reading group which requires a change of classroom because of a lack of staff is NOT okay. No, taking data on physical education on days when there is no physical education is NOT okay. No, implementing a new at home plan without proper definitions or discussion beforehand is NOT okay.
And those are just the minor issues.
I'm ready to check myself into the hospital. It seriously is THAT bad.
But, my basic thoughts on the discons:
Psychodelic was way too cinnamony for me. Might be better in the midst of winter but I'd rather drink tea with cinnamon (Mmmmm Harney & Sons...)...
Lime Smoothie has a weird scent to it - sort of pumpkin like. Sure enough - there's squash in there. There's also lime and strawberry. I use this only for shaving as I don't feel "clean" otherwise.
Gentle Lentil stripped color out of my hair and left it tangled. Good thing I was planning a color the next day which was why I gave it a shot. Using it on the baby's hair and it's nice but I prefer the scent of good old Johnson & Johnson's for a baby. They just smell right.
Slammer seriously smells of lime peel. It has a bit of a sour aftersmell to it too. I'll use it up eventually as a little goes a long way but it's not something I'd choose to repurchase.
Haven't unwrapped the dusting powder, Ice Hotel, Pineapple Grunt or Flowertub yet. Flowertub smells incredible - very green but not piney like Green Day - instead it's flowery, meadowy. |

Julie, I'm sorry that you are having such difficulty with the school. I work in a high school so by the time they get to us, IEPs are almost uniform for everyone who is classified... at least for those who are scheduled in mainstream classes.

Well, I'm here too, as much as possible. In New York right now... God knows I've got of ton of stuff to review, but just can't seem to find the time. Got some Bath & Body Works stuff I really want to review - hopefully soon....

Is it really worth reviewing the discontinued stuff since they don't sell it now? I could but I didn't think the reviews would have much value.
I am depressed to hear that Gentle Lentil stripped hair color! I bought two and have yet to try it. It better not EVEN mess with my hair!
I am too lazy to send in SAPs. But I will. Very soon.
I am also in the burnt out category at the moment but I feel myself getting back on track!

You know, I just realized I had been away from the site for almost a week! I got busy with the kids.
School stuff! You know, teachers love assigning projects that parents end up doing a lot of the work! Ha!
I actually have a ton of stuff to review - I just don't know where to start. I think I'll dump it in a box, close my eyes, and start picking. |
