LUSH Valentines stuff!

Okay, I was on the LUSH site today and noticed their too cute Valentines gift stuff. Has anyone bought/ordered any?

I'm very very tempted but someone needs to tell me no!

OMG! I'm on my way over to LUSH.com to check this stuff out now! I'm going to LUSH tomorrow, so we'll see what it looks like in person if they have it all....

I'm not tempted.

Well, I was a little tempted on the Long Lost Loves box since it apparently contains discontinued things like Potion Lotion... And I didn't even really want to try them so much as I wanted to try them so I could review them.

Sick sick sick.

LOL! You're not sick; Epinions and LUSH both just keep sucking you in!

I just had a look and I'm not that interested in anything. I'm sort of relieved!

Going to LUSH this weekend. Anyone need me to pick anything up for them, or test sniff anything?

I'm thinking about the box, too. Thinking . . . I'm not really into massage bars or bath bombs, but the Potion Lotion, soap, and bubble bar are of interest. I'd be willing to split it maybe.

But I'm trying to have self control. I have to pay off a deferred bill for furniture in Feb. And now I see I'll probably have to get a new BBQ and patio set. We had some high winds and 60 mph gust blew our glass top patio table across the yard and it's toast (don't worry, it was a Walmart special). But my reliable Weber Q BBQ took a hit too and I'm afraid that its gas line or something broke. So more expenses! (And I had it on safe place protected from the wind but hubby moved it).

Then again, maybe I DO need some retail therapy!

Long Lost Loves

I received a Long Lost Loves box as a gift. So far, I've only tried Potion and Kiss Me Klimt.

I was disappointed with Kiss Me Klimt. They made such a big deal about the "real gold dust" on it - mine had so little that it was extremely hard to see. It has a powdery floral scent which is pleasant but nothing that I'm all "oh my gosh I gotta have it". It's been described as having a Klimt-like rice paper thingy inside - mine didn't have anything inside it.

Potion is wonderful. If you liked the scent of the Holiday bubble bar - this is it.

Haven't yet tried the It's A Date bubble bar or Queen of Hearts soap or Black Magic massage bar. It's a Date is the same size as Creamy Candy but is a florescent pink and smells a different type of sweet. Haven't even unwrapped the others to sniff.

I also received a Play Your Cards Right massage bar. The scent is one of those that you need to put on your skin because it is nasty in the bar form - sort of musky and ugh. On the skin, it mellows a lot and is a lighter and nicer Sex Bomb scent.

I think the Long Lost Loves box is overpriced for what you get but the Play Your Cards Right isn't bad. I know that my friend used a 15% off coupon on them so it was like getting the PYCR for free.

And, if you go to the LUSH website now, they have Clean Slate stuff back again - and you can combine with one of a couple of promo codes out right now. Prices are going up again at the end of the month.
