LUSH shower bombs????
Anyone try these? I have no bathtub and am thus very intrigued. Early reviews on the site don't seem to be so good though.

RE: LUSH shower bombs????
Are those the emotibombs? I think you just throw them in the tub when you shower and they're supposed to smell good or something. Seems like a huge waste of money to me as I cannot understand what benefit they'd offer. Makes me think of those shower soothers that are supposed to be good for colds but all they do is run straight down the drain. |

I've never heard of these. I would buy something that smells good while I'm showering, though. Especially if it smells like cake or candy or something like that. Although like you said, they'd probably just go down the drain like the Sudafed Shower Soothers.... |

You can get a free one or two (I forgot) with an order right now. I want to try them. They probably are dumb but it would be cool to take a shower and have a great citrus scent fill up my senses. Although my body washes usually do a good job of that. I still can't resist at least trying them.
I am looking forward to the toner tabs too. Crazy idea but they just may be good for the skin!

I just noticed the Emotibombs today online. You have til 9/5 to place a $40 order and get one free. I haven't been in the store in months, but I am thinking of heading over today. Don't know if I can get a freebie there but I'm going to try! |

Okay, changed my mind. I decided to order online so I could get some of the Retro stuff AND a freebie shower bomb. Boy, they really are pushing them now. On my order confirmation they said on my next order I could get a free one if I order 3.
Anyhow, I'm excited to stock up some Retro bubble bars for the winter bath season. I've been very thrifty this summer, staying away from TBS and LUSH so I really needed a nice treat for myself.
I got: Happy Bubble, Aura Suavis, It's a Date, and Marzibain. I really wanted to try Melomint and Ice Hotel, but they were out of stock!

RE: LUSH shower bombs????
Update on the Emotibomb:
I got my freebie (Sex in the Shower) and love it! I read one review that said to put it out of the direct stream of the shower so it will last. Since I have a good size shower stall I was able to do that and it smelled great. It smelled a lot like lavender to me. Very nice. I can see how these would go right down the drain, though, if you put them in the direct stream.
Love it. For me this product is a winner, but in my old shower (which was teeny tiny) I don't think it would have worked.

I bought two Emotibombs but keep forgetting to use them. Based on these positive comments, I can't wait to try them! |
