"Reclaim" by victoria secret

I have seen infomercials on tv for the 'reclaim' anti-aging products which victoria principal has introduced the consumers to. But I have yet seen any 'reviews' on this particular product(kit)on line. I have read just a number of testimonals which really says nothing but 'positive' opinions on reclaim. I am seriously looking for some comments pros/cons on victoria's reclaim and whether it diminishes the lines on women's faces.
Please help

I haven't heard of this stuff yet, but now I'm interested! I try to catch infomercials when I can but haven't seen this one yet. I'm looking forward to reviews on this too.

RE:

You might want to try QVC. Her other lines used to be sold there. Haven't checked their website but that may give you a clue :)

Good luck in finding it. I've used her skin care products before and I loved them.

RE: 'Reclaim' beauty products

Be sceptical.
The best way to find out if the chemical that she uses actually has any basis. Search the web for it; contact bio-chemist labs on the net and ASK them if this chemical can do what she says it does! I will contact a chemist and get back to this site with the results!

Whether or not this product works, when you work out how much you are paying each month for it, it's a hefty sum.

Flogging this product to people under the age of 60 is, to my mind, a rip-off. Why is everyone so obsessed about wrinkles?

Victoria look fabulous, but I don't believe this is solely from using her own products.

RE: Reclaim beauty products

Hi!

I've just typed in "Argirelene" into the search engine and guess what? all kinds of websites about this chemical have come up! Seems it's a bit like Botox. There are lots of products out there with this stuff, as well as scientific information. So do your own research and make an informed opinion before you part with your money for a 'celebrity name'. There may be similar and much cheaper products out there for you to buy.

I've used Reclaim

I have been using Reclaim since February. I am 49 with very fair skin that has not aged well. I was not looking for a miracle by any means.

I like the products but only see a slight difference in my skin. It has more of a glow. As for the wrinkles, I do not see any difference.

I think for the price, you should see a little more change.

Victoria's new line of skin care

I have not tried the product yet, being just 44 I may need a few more wrinkles, to see if this actually works! But looking at some of the testimonials, a lot of the models look like they have had Botox shots (or a reasonable facsimile?), especially in the lip area!
I may try it once it hits Wal- Mart, or any "chain- store", like her "Principal Secret" line did, years ago.
It would be a wonderful thing though, to spend 40 bucks, after S&H to have a more youthful look. I am anxious to hear more on this line of skin care!
Please be honest on your opinions.

RE: 'Reclaim' beauty products

Amen on being skeptical! I see Botox written all over the info-mercial! Especially the lips! I do not understand the obsession w/ fat lips nowadays! Taylor on the Bold and the Beautiful "came back" all "pumped up", and she was so pretty before, then she had to get her lips done.....and it just does not look right!
I saw that in the info-mercial tonight about the Reclaim products!
I am no MD, but when you pump your body full of toxins,to fill in spaces (wrinkles) especially your face, doesn't that stretch delicate facial tissue, which would produce more wrinkles in the long run? Hence the dependancy on getting regular Botox shots?
I hope I age gracefully.......lol!

Meaningful Beauty

Victoria is beautiful, she has alittle help since she's married to a plastic surgeon. He's a looker too. Anyway, I'm looking for better skincare products. I have been using Jansen Beckett products, pretty good, but alittle pricey.
Any suggestions for products out there?

Reclaim Products and other Principal Secret

I bought Reclaim off QVC (the best place to get the stuff, b/c it also sells the other 2 lines Qvc.com or order the catalog from Principalsecret.com). I've only been using it for a wk. so no big change, then again, I'm 34 without many wrinkles or skin problems. Like someone else says, it makes your skin look healthy/glowing. It smells like melon. I would recommend also trying the other 2 lines (the original smells the best, the Advanced doesn't smell as good..maybe abit like Vitamin C, but the moisturizer is very good). I prefer the first 2 lines, old habits maybe or I'm not feeling the wrinkles yet... I used to use the products for yrs. many yrs. ago and have used many other lines (cheap and expensive), I've gone back to Principal Secret recently. I've been happy with all products except the Blemish Buster Mask, which actually made me break out. If you want all the fancy stuff, try it, everything is good actually, but atleast try the basic 3 pieces. They do have a bottom of the jar guarentee. The Toning Mask in the original line is great for cold or dry weather. In my opinion, it's the same as Extra Nuturing Cream, but 1/2 the price. The Enzyme Treatment is great, too. They sell 90 day supplies. The wash, you will probably run out of, the other stuff, moisturizers etc. you might have some left, since very little goes a long way. With that in mind, it's really not too expensive. I've used more of a product with cheaper lines and it doesn't give the same results. I would say to give it a try.

RE: Reclaim Products and other Principal Secret

I love love love these products I am 42 and started using them at 39. I started with the advanced now I am using the Reclaim. I really have good skin and not many wrinkles but my skin looks radiant. It feels good and I look healthier, Tone and overall appearance. I have let friends use my cleaner when they are over and need to clean their face. They too love it and I always get the same response; Where did you get this? I first tried it from my mom and As long as I can afford it I will buy it. Do I think it will stop me from looking older in time... not really but will I look radiant as I age? absolutely! The price is really not too bad. If you personalize the kit to less product it is very affordable. Always get the cleansing cream and moisturizer. But I love it all! I have tried expensive department store product and cheep grocery store product. This is the best I have found for my skin.

Reclaim

I am 42 years old and have been using the reclaim products for about a year. I purchased them to use in conjuction with the Obagi line that I have purchased from my dermatolgoist. I had been using Obagi since I was 36 and was on a maintence schedule and was looking for a good mosturizer, eye cream, and cleanser that was affordable. I really do like the products but I don't use them to take care of wrinkles. The only thing that can truly restore your skin is Retin-A used along with Obagi. When I wasn't using Obagi and Retin-A I would use the Reclaim. I did feel compared with other products available it was very high quality for the price. I did the same as recommended on an earlier post. You do not need to buy a large amount of the product. I often find that they last a little longer than the 3 months and I can substitute other items when I reorder my next shipment. I use mainly the Reclaim Day and Night Mosturizer, Reclaim Eye cream and the cleanser all with Agiraline. Hope this helps.

Reclaim

I work for a call center that answers phones for Principal Secrets, and was given some of the Reclaim products for free. I love them! Not only does my skin have a really wonderful glow, I swear that my frown lines are disappearing. I haven't been using it for long, but I hope it keeps working this way. If it does, I'll actually pay money for it!

Reclaim reviews

I found this in doing a little 'scouting'

http://www.smartskincare.com/reviews/product/brandidx/principal-secret/

There were 8 for Reclaim,
also 6 of other Principal products.

Only in 1 of these 14 product reviews
did the user conclude "Adverse Effects"
(that one did mention containing argireline)

Reclaim - ordered it for the first time

Those of you who say her products are a bit pricey must obviously be using drugstore stuff, because I got the whole line of the reclaim products for 29.99. I can't even buy Mary Kay Timewise (one bottle of lotion) for under $30. Also, Avon Anew products are in the $30 range as well. I think she is underpriced if you ask me.

RE: Principal Secret = HIVES

Principal Secret caused all over face HIVES, from an allergic reaction to the chemicals in their product. It was a very bad experience. Getting rid of wrinkles via puffing them up through allergic reactions is not a good product plan.

I love Reclaim!

I've been using the Reclaim product line for several months now and absolutely love it. My skin is so much healthier looking and feels so smooth and soft. Also, it has a clean, fresh glow. The fine lines around my eyes and between my eyebrows have diminished, though they aren't totally gone but there is quite a noticeable difference. Also, the pores on my nose have decreased considerably. I use the cleanser, exfoliant, eye serum, day and night moisturizer and mask. It doesn't take much at all so it really lasts. I am so happy to have found Reclaim because it is a better product compared to what I was using from the "Department Store". Also, it is much less expensive. I would recommend Reclaim to anyone who wants an improvement in their skin!

No reduction in lines and creases

I purchased the Reclaim line around my 30th birthday last June and have been using it faithfully ever since. While I like the glow and softness the products impart to my skin, I am quite disappointed with the results on my eye area, for which I purchased the product. Not only have the creases and lines not subsided, new ones have appeared over the entire 10 month period I have used the products. I am now looking for new eye products.

RE: No reduction in lines and creases

I have been using Arbonne Swiss skin care, and love the products. I have since become a consultant. I also tried the Reclaim, and did not notice any changes. I am forever going to department stores and Sephora trying to find new products. The Arbonne Re9 system is what I use now and my skin looks and feels so moist all day long, not oily, but healthy and glowing. The price averages about $28.00 a product, but the products are very concentrated, so it only takes the size of a pea. The eye creme is great! (as are all of the products which are botanically and herbal based)
