My point was, I don't see how mentioning a camera's resolution, or any other spec, in itself, makes a review more complete, or helps the shopper much. I wouldn't advocate including a spec or feature in a review (even a camera's resolution), unless its a spec or feature that the reviewer understands somewhat, at least, and is reviewing.
I think I'm more agreeing with Ander's original post, if you think its important to mention a camera is 6mp, then it follows that its worth letting readers know if they are getting a quality 6mp capability, or if its just marketing hype.
