Trial sizes?

I considered posting this in Beauty, but I'd like input from a wider scope.

I'm about to write a shampoo review...and the first one that shows up is a trial size. The size I have is about the 5th down, and I started thinking about how random it is to have trial sizes.

I kind of understand the idea behind it, but honestly I think it's a little silly. So what if you don't have the full size? You tried the product, right? In fact, I just reviewed something that I only had samples of and not a whole bottle. Does size really matter? O_o

As an older guy around here I'm not trying to be sly when I say, "It's the "experience" that counts."

That's what our reviews are about and that's what we share.

RE: Trial sizes?

Pops is absolutely right. You can write the review under any of the listings you want, because it's your experience that counts. I write some of my beauty reviews based on my experience with different sizes, from samples to trial sizes.

And then there are the vats of beauty products that I buy.

:)

RE: Trial sizes?

Size matters ... when you're talking diamonds and investment portfolios. Beauty products? I don't think it matters, and there are members who note that they're posting their experience based on trial sizes. (unless it's a product you should be using for (x) amount of time, and the sample isn't generous enough to adequately test)
