RE: The Next Epinions Meet & Greet

I voted for DC. I'd drive the 4 hours there to attend.

Has there ever been an East Coast meet-up?

We just had one last November in New York City.

About a year ago, we met one of the old Epistaff Pehr right in Boston as well.

You should come to the South. We've got the best food.

Awww

I voted for Chicago, just because I thought it would be a nice place. I'm way out here in Southern California, so nothing there really appealed to me. However, should you guys ever be in the Los Angeles or San Diego area, go ahead and give me a shout. :P

RE: Awww

I also voted even though I am not going. Maybe that is not kosher. If so take out the vote. However, I was hoping one of us who lives close to DC would go, so I voted for Washington DC.

KANSAS CITY!

Oh...wait...that's not an option. Ah well.

NT *wonders if she will ever be near a M&G spot and not busy at the same time*

RE: Awww

Any chance for M&G in the virtual world...after all, we're a virtual community?

We used to have moderated on-line discussions with TPTB back in Nirav's day.

I'm certain there must be a way with advances in technology to set up a moderated cam-chat, or group skype, or.....???

Even if you were to have a M&G every couple of months, there would be some of us who wouldn't be able to make it out. I know there are things that might not be discussable in an on-line forum, but at least you could reach out to those of us with unusual schedules, or who live too far to get to the physical M&G.

Chicago won the next Meet-n-Greet

Congrats to all you who can make it! From what I've heard, you are destined to have a great time.

I'm crossing my fingers that Seattle will eventually win the contest, once there are no other contenders :(

Didn't they just have a Meet and Greet in Chicago last year?

If so, I look forward to the next NYC one which would fall in the fall.

Yes a Meet & Greet in NY would be excellent. My wife was disappointed she wasn't invited to the focus group. Ha, she would have had plenty of input.

Bring your bathing suits

Bring your bathing suits. You can go swimming at the public beach in the middle of the city. The water is warmer than in Northern Sweden.

And sometimes Northern Illinois. Isn't anyone excited? I'm excited! This will be the first one in Chicago I actually manage to get to!

It was 2008, and we had a GREAT time.

Mrs Saxguy and I will DEFINITELY be there. I hope everybody from last time and lots more folks are there, too.

Has Chicago been officially announced as the winning city? I may try to make it - not a bad drive from Detroit.
