More category tabs

How about adding another row of category tabs at the top of the page? The fact that Games, in particular, doesn't have a tab is a big omission, in my opinion.

RE: More category tabs

This request was discussed on the General Message Board, and the general consensus was that it's a great idea.

Epinions design should help readers find our reviews as easily as possible; if entire categories of products are hidden from plain sight, that makes finding their reviews so much more difficult.

I would like to add another idea:

In addition to category tabs, why not make the tabs offer pull down menus with all the subcategories, instead of moving to another page?

Thanks for listening :)

This sounds good to me, too.

No Animation, Please

Please don't do those mouse-over animated drop-down menus.
They bog down systems in which the user couldn't afford to put much RAM or video power.
It also makes the pages slower to load, and often the animations happen in ways unexpected or undesirable to the user.
Then there's the hassle and expense of trying to make it work the same on all browsers and operating systems.
It's just overall, bad HTML design
