Weddings & Babies

Today is my sister's wedding and it is going to be a huge affair. I didn't think I would be nervous being a bridesmaid. I was wrong. I'm all ready getting butterflies! It is going to be a looooooooooong day.

In other news live from the world of Julie...

I will be a first time grandma in November! And, I won't be surprised if there is another wedding and baby announcement before the end of the year.

Who else is celebrating life moments?

Julie

Congrats Julie! Our daughter is taking fertility drugs, I hope to be a gramma one day (soon!). I bet the wedding will be beautiful, and you will make a gorgeous bridesmaid!!

. . .and I thought it was going to be a thread about imbeciles who bring noisy babies to weddings. Idjits.

Glad to hear it was better, if more nervous, news.

Finally, I'm home. It was a beautiful wedding and almost without any problems. Well...until the flower girl freaked out over all of the people that were there. My 22 year old son was an usher seated next to the door. The little girl threw the basket of rose petals at him and ran the other way. So, my sister and her husband had a 22 year old man flower girl. He said he didn't know what else to do, but he wasn't let my sister go without her flower petals! :)

The other problem was a baby (under 2) that cried the entire time. Sigh...why won't parents get up and take them out when they do that?

Julie...glad to kick her shoes off!

I was at a wedding the other weekend and they provided babysitting for babies. I think that's a great idea. Most people traveled a long distance for the wedding.
