Anyone use SuddenLink??

Hey, everybody!

We'll be moving soon, and I was checking out cable TV, Internet, phone providers there. Besides Time Warner Cable (which we have now), there's another company called SuddenLink that is less expensive than Time Warner, but offers the same stuff.

The only reviews I can find of SuddenLink are rants, and I can't find any reviews that are current.

Do any of you use SuddenLink, or do you know anyone who does? I don't want to sign up with them without any prior knowledge of customer satisfaction.

Thanks for any help. (And...thanks for the suggestion, Harold!!)

Julie

RE: Anyone use SuddenLink??

Suddenlink in Southwest Louisiana is a very reliable service that only seems to suffer problems during heavy thunderstorms.

Their internet is this area is feed directly from the fiber lines along I-10 and is very fast. In fact, among my computer friends, no one uses DSL because of the speed of cable modems.

Suddenlink also has a very responsive service team that I have not had a problem with yet. Expect the usual 24 hour wait with a 4 hour window of arrival.

Enjoy!

RE: Anyone use SuddenLink??

Hi! My name is Tina and I am with Suddenlink. I saw your post regarding cable/internet/phone providers. The first step you may want to take is to call both companies to see if your new address is servicable through that company. Often times, service providers do not overlap, so only one provider may be available to you at your address. As far as customer satisfaction is concerned, Suddenlink is a growing company and is constantly improving customer satisfaction ratings, including JD Power. Please keep in mind that online reviews are not necessarily reflective of a company's current status. You can always try Suddenlink's service and see if it works for you. If it does not, you can generally cancel with no penatlies. Please feel free to email me at tina-AT-suddenlink-DOT-com.
