RE: insignia brand products at best buy

they are cheap for a reason. color control in the tvs i have compared as well as focus/convergence is poor. I have heard zero good things about their DVD players though i couldn't tell you anything about their VCRs. If i had to buy blind, i would buy sanyo before going with Insignia, but thats just me...

Will update...

Just bought a portable DVD player of insignia's for my wife. I'll update as we use it to tell you guys what I think of it.

It was $50 cheaper, and so I bought the $30 two year warranty (because I didn't trust a house brand). So I figure I saved $20 either way. When we use it I'll update on it's abilities.

Insignia TV

My 27 inch TV had a problem with the picture, which occured in the first 3 months after purchase. To paraphrase BestBuy, if the televisions are not in warranty, chances are that they cannot fix them. In other words, they are disposable TVs. Go to WalMart to get a cheap price with a brand name
