So getting back to this topic. I've let some of my advice columns get some soak time. From what I've seen, I've been getting roughly a range between a 3:1 and 4:1 hit/cent payout on my advice reviews. My worst one has a 10:1 ratio, but it has like 41 total hits in 6 months and has made 4 total cents. So if you can write something that can get generate some timeless lasting value, you can probably earn a steady stream of IS if you can continue to get the hits.
