Metroid Prime Trilogy
Anyone else picking this up? The box looks pretty sweet and I never did play the 2nd or 3rd installment in the series so I'm pretty excited to pick this up in a few days. |

RE: Metroid Prime Trilogy
I'm definitely interested in this one, especially if they changed that wonky control scheme they had going. That was one of the biggest reasons I only played a few hours into the first two games. Have you pre-ordered? I'm not sure if I will or will wait to see if there are any special deals next week. |

RE: Metroid Prime Trilogy
I haven't, I was going to until I was told the box was like that for all copies of the game. I have a few other games I'm trying to beat on the Wii first so as long as that box art etc comes with them all I can wait a bit to pick it up and see if I can find a better deal. |

RE: Metroid Prime Trilogy
$30 if you're near a Fred Meyer.

RE: Metroid Prime Trilogy
If there's no Fred Meyer, you can get it for $40 shipped at buynextgen.com. |

RE: Metroid Prime Trilogy
Thanks for the links, that forum name is perfect for me lol. I may try to see if any place else will match Fred Meyer's if not I'll just order online. |

Got it
Picked it up for $30, thanks for the Fred Meyer link. $10 per game in this compilation is a great value. The art book is nice although I was hoping it would be a bit more than it actually is. The case is nice and they give you a very in depth manual from the looks of things.
Don't plan on playing it for a bit but it is pretty. |

RE: Got it
I'm still waiting for buynextgen to ship the game. But I'm in no rush at the moment. I have plenty of games to play. |

RE: Got it
I know the feeling I'm pretty immersed in Tiger Woods 10 atm and still have several other games I haven't gotten around to playing. |

RE: Got it
There were some CLs during our meetup last month who were raving about that and the frisbee golf mode. Definitely another game I'd want to check out. Though with sports games if you don't act quick the depreciation is rather steep. |

RE: Got it
Yea it's pretty fun and there is a lot of different gameplay modes to go through. I'm currently working my way through them so I can write up a review. The Wii Sports Resort is a little bit easier for Frisbee golf, but both are pretty solid. I think the gameplay in this will hold up for awhile but unfortunately the online offering expires so if you want to continue playing online you will be forced to purchase the next edition of the game. |
