Well... maybe? Anyway, it's official: for the next ten years, Bungie has signed a contract to publish games exclusively with Activision, which seems to mean that they'll start making games within the multiplatform region.

This is interesting, considering how Bungie was once a multiplatform developer until Microsoft bought them. I'm not really sure of the specifics as to why Microsoft no longer owns the company. But, now that Activision has lost Infinity Ward (essentially), they've now gained an even greater companion.

It seems like the upcoming project from Bungie is given some light. Destiny is a sci-fi shooter MMO described as being "World of WarCraft set in space." At least one source says it is so, but this doesn't seem quite so official just yet.

Bungie's next game is confirmed to be a MMO... but not "WoW in space." Nothing else has been revealed about it, though.
