steam mops for walls?

I would like opinions about different brands of steam mops (shark, bissell...).

Also, for anyone who has a steam mop, could it be used to clean walls, or would the water just leak all over the place. I'm looking for an appliance to EASILY clean walls. The steam mop looks like it would be the perfect design for reaching & ease of use (pad & steam all in one place). I'm just concerned that it will leak when inverted.

Thanks

RE: steam mops for walls?

We have a Bissell Green Machine, which is a steam cleaner with a mop attachment. (I don't think the Green Machine is available anymore.) It does a nice job on floors and I have used it a couple times to steam clean engine parts. I have not tried to use it on walls, but that sounds like a great idea. The Green Machine keeps the water in a canister on the floor, then has a hose to deliver it to the tool. There shouldn't be any leakage.

A friend of mine has recommended using the Shark Steam Mop to steam wallpaper for removal. He hasn't mentioned any leaks. He offered to let me try it recently until his wife told him it was now broken.

I also have Shark Steam Mop and I have no problems with it. It is very good for floors and walls. I recommend it to all.
