Help!
I just goofed last night, and wrote nearly identical reviews for two nearly-identical products. My mistake, and the NH ratings on both were deserved. I just deleted one review and updated the other, but not all the raters have valid e-mail addresses listed.
Suggestiions, please. |

RE: Help!
One solution is to delete the review and re-post it. You could even have a sentence at the beginning stating that you're re-posting the review due to some initial problems. After a couple of weeks, simply delete this sentence -- nobody will care anymore.
This is a little like swatting flies with a hammer but there's often no other way to get some people to re-read/rate a review. If you have honestly done your best to correct the problems, you shouldn't feel guilty about deleting and re-posting.
Otherwise, I can't think of anything else.

Thank you. I'll leave that as a last resort. All but two raters have now re-rated. The two non-re-raters are a veteran with an invalid e-mail address listed, and a newbie with no listed e-mail.

You can leave a comment on one of the veteran's reviews, although a handful of veterans are testy about that. I personally think it's just fine, as long as the person is polite. If the newbie has a review, you can try the same thing. Otherwise, you can reasonably assume that the newbie's rate carries little weight beyond its psychic effect on you.
