Does anything happen to reviews of properties that were destroyed by the hurricane? Obviously, these reviews are all obsolete now, even if they rebuild the property/attraction in coming months. I imagine some places are gone forever too :( -Dave

I was thinking the same thing just yesterday, Dave. I dropped by the Biloxi topic area, wondering just which of the places described were now matchwood.

I would guess that the problem is that Epinions won't know which of the hotels survived or are salvagable and which are gone for good. Over time of course, new reviews will start to tell us the whole picture.

I think it's the same old issue - hotels and restaurants change over time, making older reviews obsolete. I have argued that older reviews should be "archived" or dropped down the list of reviews (particulary for those topic areas subject to change), but Epinions haven't yet tackled the issue.
