Has anyone used Traveling Toddler product?
I am traveling soon with my 2.5 year old daughter and want to take a car seat on the plane. I don't really want to buy a new car seat. I ran across this product, http://www.travelingtoddler.com, has anyone used it? How did it work. It seems worth a try for $15...

next car seat for 4 yr old
If any parents can provide insight on a car seat brand and model for my 35 lb, 39" boy, around $100, where his head does not bob around during sleeping plus is well known for car crash accidents, I need some advice asap.

RE: Has anyone used Traveling Toddler product?
hello it is Nov 20th and I do not know if you traveled yet.
I just saw your message after reading about car seats for over three hours. Looking for a safe one for a four year old where your head does not bob during sleeping and has held up in car accidents around $100.
Yes I would recommend this traveling idea, my son has gone on five airplanes already, although I have not done any research on your product, this looks most helpful! I saw another one maybe ebay? that holds my Britax Roundabout but it was $85 dollars, I would definitely consider how long your child's legs are, maybe see if you can check one out in your area in person and test her/him first? I showed my husband and we were soooo disappointed that they did not have this two years ago, also I killed my back after the csection May of 2002 by not having the stroller you snap the carrier into. My son is 3 1.2 and I have gone to many doctors mri, catscan, bone scan, etc with long term bad lower back pain
Search on ebay by advanced search, type in your product and then search within 10 25 miles of your zip, someone should be able to help you as a parent. We have to stick together.

Traveling toddler
I used the traveling toddler strap, http://www.travelingtoddler.com, on a recent trip, and it worked very well. I already had a car seat and didn't want to spend $200 on a specialized one. I was very happy to find this alternative for only $20. It was very easy to use and my son loved riding in his own car seat at the airport, which made changing flights much easier. We were able to unhook and re-attach the car seat very quickly when going through security, and getting on and off the plane. I would definitely recommend this product to other parents. |

RE: Traveling toddler
The Traveling Toddler strap looked good but we opted to pay the extra 5 bucks ($25 total) and get the TOTEaTOT because it seemed easier to put on.
It does the same thing, but there's two snaps on the TOTEaTOT instead of what looks like buckles. And it also comes with a backpack built into it. This is important because once you have the car seat attached to the luggage, you can't open the suitcase, and this way, we could store the diapers and toys and whatever else in the backpack. Also, the TOTEaTOT converts to a backpack that we used once we got there. Overall, it just seemed more intuitive to install, and we were very pleased with it. It took literally seconds to attach the car seat to the suitcase. We'd definitely recommend it. www.toteatot.com |

Traveling Toddler ROCKS!!
We used the traveling toddler for a trip with our two toddlers. It saved the day!! It was very easy to attach to our rolling suitcase. The best part is that our 18-month old was "contained" in her carseat - a space she is very used to and comfortable in - for the whole flight. |
