I'm trying to be calm about this! Buyer Beware on Boxed Art.com for web templates. I paid my annual membership and only got to use the site for less than 4 months. I am unable to log in since Wednesday and haven't heard from support at all. There are no phone numbers to call, and no one but an email form to write to. I've been sending them multiple requests and still nothing. So be aware... I will never purchase online without a person to talk to. Should've known better. And they say hundreds of templates... really there are only about 50. Guess that's worth the $79 if I would've downloaded all of them already.

I was amazed at receiving a email from BoxedArt to their subscription members giving notice that it was not in compliance with their licensing to use BoxedArt website templates for any kind of client work without making "significant design changes." "Significant design changes" was specifically defined as changes to the layout itself and stated that changing images and text was not enough to be in compliance. If you do not alter their template's layout (kind of missing the whole point of a template) you then have to purchase additional licensing. This information is included as a read me file with downloads (a little late at that point), but if it is on the website, it is pretty well buried...probably because it would significantly effect their membership dollars if they mentioned it right up front.
