Whole Health Products -- nightmare!

Merchant promotion (advertised on Yahoo) was set up like a record-club; decent initial offer carries "fine print" obligation for future recurring shipments/charges for products I can buy locally at a fraction of the cost. I managed to return the first unwanted package but my attempts to unsubcribe were unsuccessful. After the first email, they refused to answer subsequent emails, or any of my numerous telephone messages. ("Live" telephone operators were never available during their business hours). I had to go through my credit-card company to dispute this, and still am not sure whether I won't get more shipments/charges since Whole Health Products refuses to reply. Try calling their customer service # yourself (800-382-1936) -- good luck getting a live operator. I'm still waiting for them to get back to me with a "return merchandise authorization" so I can send their last shipment back. This is like a nightmare that won't end. Columbia Record Club (and AOL) could learn a few tricks from these clowns.

Sounds like definitely one to steer clear of. As someone suggested in another thread, you may also want to keep relevant correspondence (like send them a demand letter to cease and desist through the actual mail - not via e-mail) and share the problem with your postmaster. Anyone who uses the mail can be charged with mail fraud if they fail to follow certain rules.
