Advisor concerns
Am I the only one who assumes that since we or I don't have an advisor badge next to my ratings or a MH button, then advisor bonus' for next month will be gone. It happened in R & G the Two Places in which I write! Jo |

You are an Advisor in Sports and Outdoors, even though your rate isn't showing up to you (it's showing up to others who look at the review) and we don't have the MH button. I had sent in a bug report on this a while ago and they told me that they are working on it.
If you rate a review in Sports and Outdoors and then go and look at all the rates - you'll see your advisor bubble there, it just won't show up for you when you look at the review itself. As for the MH button, they are working on making it reappear for us.
So I wouldn't worry about the Advisor bonuses, they should be fine - Eps knows we are Advisors in whatever categories we are Advisors in.
You can send Andy an email asking him if he knows when they are going to fix the bug - he didn't give me an estimated time frame.

Now I get it! With some Sports & Outdoors reviews missing the 'New Reviews' page under the category, it seems like not many new reviews are coming through anyway. Anyone else notice this? At some point I'll try to comb through the general 'New Reviews' page again to find them, but don't have time for that now (gotta work all day Saturday - Grrrr.) -Dave |

I've been doing that when I go to rate reviews - there doesn't seem to be much in the just-in for the Sports and Outdoors. I just go to the general just-in and skim through it until I find sports and outdoors reviews - and there's quite a few that don't make it into the more specific just-ins.

By chance I just found some unrated Outdoors/Sports reviews on a newbies page. Anyone have any ideas on finding unrated reviews besides what Jeff does? It's impossible to monitor the Just In page 24/7/365. -Dave |

It seems that last night's upgrade fixed the Sports & Outdoors problems. It seems like all the reviews are showing up in the proper Just In section and Advisors have the MH button back to rate reviews.

That's weird - about the button - I have only noticed a handful of S&O reviews where I don't have a MH button yet, otherwise everything that was originally showing up without the button (or even my advisor bubble) is now showing up.
The missing reviews on the other hand are hitting me too - all my S&O reviews have disappeared from my rankings.
Hopefully it all gets worked out at some point.

Did you ever get your button?
There are a few reviews where I don't have one (I think mostly bike stuff) - but otherwise the Advisor button is on all the reviews.

Finding new reviews/Unrated 2009
I have been finding reviews that are either unrated or rated by only one Advisor in Sports & 0utdoors ... I am not sure why this is happening but I make it a point to rate every review. |

It could be that they aren't showing up in the "just-in" for the S&O section, hence we're missing them, since it seems we do a pretty good job at hitting everything there. However I know there's some S&O stuff that doesn't seem to pop up in any of the just-in categories for some reason. Same thing happens to some reviews in electronics. I'm guessing it's some database issue.
If you find them, either drop me an email or maybe we can set up a thread here and we can send some raters over there to make sure all the reviews have rates.
