Help me get paintball on Epinions!!!


I am trying to get paintball equipment listed here on Epinions. I need your help though. If you play the sport, buy the equipment, or just know someone who has please write about it. There are nearly 10 million people in the United States playing and it is second only to skateboarding in popularity among “extreme” sports.

Epinions is an outstanding forum of information. It is probably at least one of the top 10 venues of product information out there. There are already several forums and message boards out there for paintball but they slack in design and quality content. Epinions is simply better than any other research forum out there for paintball (any many other subjects too for that matter). The writers are better are better on Epinions. The Epinions site is better than any other paintball site.

Almost every paintball player I know researches his purchase before actually going through with it. Hours, weeks and for me months of research goes into a purchase before actually making it. Often a buyer knows more about a particular product than the salesman when it comes time for the purchase. Paintball gear costs more then you might expect. People want to be sure that they are getting their money’s worth. That is where Epinions comes in.

I do have self-interest in promoting this sport. I enjoy it and I want others to experience the sport. I want to write about paintball gear. I want to be able to write about it on Epinions though. So I ask for your help. If you have something to write about paintball please do. I want to start bringing new members to Epinions and new content is the key. Write something and post it in the Writer’s Corner. You won’t be getting any revenue from it but hopefully the right people will take notice at Epinions and start a new category. I have already written to Epinions to request a new category but with the current changes going on I am sure this is a low priority for them. Hopefully we can make this happen in short order.

Remember, new traffic helps us all. New members create new traffic and bring new guests.

Well, I'm not sure if this is the answer, but thanks to our recent database upgrade, there is now a paintball topic in the Sports and Outdoor section of the site. There aren't many products, but perhaps now other paintball items can be SAP'd into the database.
