Hi everyone, I have been hearing lately about credit repairing companies and the amount of work they get in their business. One of my cousins is running a credit repair business, I have talked to him about the business but, I need more information on this so that I can start my own credit repair business. You need to repair your own credit. "Credit Repair" Companies charge fees to do things that work better coming from the individual and some of these companies are just theives. There is a lot of information on the web at credit boards, credit info center, etc. I wrote an article on this at ehow.

Has anyone used credit bureau experts, http://creditbureauexperts.com for credit repair? I'm not sure which credit repair business to use and heard from a friend they were good.

Regarding the reply about needing to do it yourself: it's true that you can do it yourself, but there is a lot of work involved, and as with any new endeavor, there's a learning curve. It's also true that a lot of "credit repair companies" are scams - but by no means ALL of them. There are many trustworthy companies who provide a very valuable service to consumers. The most honest credit repair company in the world cannot repair your credit at a reasonable price. The process is very individualized. Different responses are required for each kind of negative tradeline. You need to send almost all communication by certified mail which cost $5 plus for each letter. Anyone that can afford to pay a competent honest professional to do all this work doesn't really need credit repair. Rich people don't have credit problems, you know. the best thing to do is take advantage of the information provided by the state and federal government and DO IT YOURSELF.

I used Credit Bureau Experts to help me with some issues I was having with negative reporting on my credit reports. Yes, they were very helpful in resolving my problems and in fact deleted several negative accounts from my credit reports. CBE also corrected some outdated and inaccurate items as well. I am in much better shape now and recommend Credit Bureau Experts to anyone that needs help with credit problems.
