Trends in Chain Restaurants
In the last 2 years there are 4 (Helpful or V Helpful) reviews of Red Lobster. Star Ratings were: 2, 3, 2, 2. This compares to an overall 4 star rating. Looks like they are going down hill. Is this enough ratings to see a trend? (Some of the SH reviews were also low ratings too).-Dave |

It's hard to say - I've hated Red Lobster for years. I think they have lousy food, worse service, and horribly overprice drinks; but I know people who think they're great. I guess there's no accounting for taste. |

I would have to agree with you. I first reviewed the place in Dec of '03. I have placed Updates within the text March '05 that complained about things going in that downhill direction.
My wife and I used to swear by their Margarita. It was one of the best we were getting anywhere. It's now a poor drink.

The day they charged us for a glass of water was the day we quit eating there. That was at least ten years ago...
About a month later that particular RL restaurant got into some bad heat about food poisoning. |

Charged you for water?!?! That's taking things too far - even for an overpriced drink!

They could at least fill up a plastic bottle with water from the garden hose. Then it's worth $1.75, right?
