Falling Through the Cracks

UPDATED 11_10_09

For whatever reason, a few book reviews miss being rated. A list of Not Rated books will be placed in this location and you are all invited to help by rating. These books are often (but not always) from new reviewers exploring a relationship with Epinions. Please help us prevent them from falling through the cracks. I will attempt to update this on a regular basis. Rather than creating a long list of books, I’ll replace the existing list with the update.

Thanks to those of you who are routinely checking these missed (and newbie) reviews with me.

OSU Comp Student 2009

My question is, did the whole class join Epinions? :)

RE: Falling Through the Cracks

Apparently quite a few did this as an assignment -- that happens occasionally with other writing classes. I suspect a few remain and continue to write for Epinions. There were others but they had been found by raters.

...truelol...

One or two of them could actually write though as I remember.

But yeah, I too noticed that. I took one promising 'OSU Comp' writer (an earlier one as I remember) to task and told him to tell his instructor that s/he was being rude... ...:minism:...

RE: Falling Through the Cracks

I've updated the Falling Through the Cracks. There were three but one was only ggg gg ggg gggg gg gggg gggg gg gg (and enough g's to qualify as an express review or better known to some as an aaaaaa review -- I took care of it). Keep up the good work.

Turns out it was an Epinions engineer doing some testing with the "g" key.

RE: Falling Through the Cracks

Just wanted to leave a note saying thanks for continuing to post these books that have fallen through the cracks.

And about the one that you wanted to respond to--seems to me there was a similar story in a book the author probably has several copies of at home about two prostitutes fighting over over a baby both said was theirs...? I can't help but wonder if the author of that review would read an unedited version of that story to her children. *grumble*

Grumble, interesting how that works. I basically had to avoid rating it -- if I had rated I would have been compelled to comment and that's futile.

chuckle.
