Movie Quote Game restarted again
Don't know if everyone else was having the same problem, but I have been finding it increasingly difficult to get the movie quote game to show up properly. Therefore I'm restarting it in this thread... trouble is, I don't know if anyone got my quote?
We should have dug deeper than a grave.
If someone did, correct me!
If not... here's a clue:
The author of the book this is based on has the same initials of one of the Epinions' staff who have written reviews on the site...

an author with the initials GG
well that rules out any films by screen writer Paul Kaufman

RE: an author with the initials GG
is it
THE THIRD MAN?
its a classic film, and was based on the book by Graham Greene and the screenplay was by Greene. I haven't seen it in a long time, so I don't remember the quote itself, but the hints match up |

We have a winner!!
Saw it again recently - still a great film, and the art direction is amazing!
Over to you...

Thought of this film because my son and I saw a trailer for the third in the series
At the beginning of the 21st century, the Umbrella Corporation had become the largest commercial entity in the United States. Nine out of every ten homes contain its products. Its political and financial influence is felt everywhere. In public, it is the world's leading supplier of computer technology, medical products, and healthcare. Unknown, even to its own employees, its massive profits are generated by military technology, genetic experimentation and viral weaponry. |

Did you add the commas or do the screenwriters for this film have the grammatical sense of Arnold Rimmer?!?!? ;-D |

Umm, actually I cut and pasted it! sorry I should have given credit to IMDB for the quote, but cannot tell you the actual movie of course, because that would give it away. |

The Umbrella Corporation is a dead giveaway to anyone who's ever played a Resident Evil game. Of course, I've also followed the movie series...so that helps.
Here's the new quote:
Tourist Girl: And another thing, your beer tastes like pi**.
Short Bartender: We know.
Tavo: Because we pi** in it!
Short Bartender: And that's not all!
This 1995 action film stars a fairly well-known Spanish actor. |

Here's another quote from the same movie:
God doesn't punish the wicked and reward the righteous. Everyone dies. Some die because they deserve to; others die simply because they come from Minneapolis. It's random and it's meaningless. |

RE: more confused
I'd say it was Just My Luck from the first quote, but now that doesn't sound right going by the second quote. |

RE: Movie Quote Game restarted again
Ah. Yeah I've been having the same problem. I try to get the page to come up and every page except the last one would come up. Really a bit odd I think. It only seemed to happen with the quote thread.
