Trailers

I always pop for new trailers.

Here's the new trailer for the Willy Wonka remake as well as Be Cool, which I think may be the follow up to Get Shorty.

I think they work in Quicktime.

RE: Trailers

I think there are two reasons why it's being remade.

Tim Burton wanted to direct it.
Johnny Depp wanted to star in it.

That's probably all you need for someone to say yes and immediately see $150 million in box office.

RE: Trailers

I saw something about the Willy Wonka one last week on tv..Entertainment Tonight maybe. Anyway, it did look interesting. I've only seen parts of the original..no way I'll miss the new one though. Love Johnny Depp.

RE: Trailers

Yeah, I have a feeling that the Tim Burton version is going to be NOTHING like the origina:) I'm actually looking forward to it, but I love the book and the original movie.

I've seen that one twice now. Didn't show too much yet, but I so want to see that. I finally read the book and loved it.

Here are some hoopy links for you to wrap your towel around

Official Movie Site with Trailer
http://hitchhikers.movies.go.com/

Official BBC Radio site (they broadcast new episodes in September 04! still have yet to hear them)
ttp://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/hitchhikers/

Remember the original HHG2G text game way back when? Updated and playable online here

The movie's director interviews himself - quite Adams-worthy, if I do say so myself

RE: Trailers

I am a Johnny Depp fan as well and I will definitely be seeing this film

It is not being made in the same way the Gene Wilder version was. It is being made more true to the book much darker.

A suggestion for really long URLs...:

http://tinyurl.com

For instance, the one above is reduced from 279 characters to 24 characters thusly:

http://tinyurl.com/6mxzd

Doesn't 'screw up' the display of the entire page that way, at least as my browser displays it. Is also perhaps easier to 'copy-n-paste'. Plus it simply looks 'neater'.

And yes it works. And no, I have never had an URL go dead.

Just a thought for those who might like a neat 'utility'.

RE: tinyURL dot com

Thanks for the tip. I do use tinyurl, but I must've been too lazy that day.
