Music Download Sites

Can anyone recommend an inexpensive, legal, easy to use site for downloading songs?

I'm considering a site called mp3fiesta, and am also registered with itunes though I haven't bought anything yet.

Thanks for any suggestions.

RE: Music Download Sites

If you're looking for specific songs on demand, can't help ya, but something I like to do every now and then is to visit the websites of various record labels, and you'll find that many independents offer free mp3s of featured tracks from their recent releases. It's a great way to sample new music that you might not otherwise hear about.

RE: Music Download Sites

I like that iTunes has 30 second previews of many, if not most, of the tracks they offer. And to be honest, I don't find iTunes .99 track price to be too much - I haven't seen another site that charges less, though I'm sure they're out there...

I believe amazon.com's download site charges .89 per song. I'm pretty sure that's the least expensive of the paid download services.
