I have to agree with the title of this album. It's *definitely* one of the best recordings by The Eagles. But then again, The Eagles don't have any bad recordings. The songs on this album are as follows: Hotel California, Heartache Tonight, Seven Bridges Road, Victim of Love, The Sad Cafe, Life in the Fast Lane, I Can't Tell You Why, New Kid in Town, The Long Run, and After the Thrill is Gone.

This album was one of my most favorite possessions when I was away at college. My room-mate and I must have worn out three or four copies of it one year, listening to it over and over again.
Even though The Eagles have many albums out, in my opinion, this one is the best. Listening to this, you get to hear a variety of their songs, and different styles. There's 'Seven Bridges Road' which is almost done a cappella, 'Heartache Tonight' which is a louder, and faster song, and the song that everyone knows 'Hotel California' which needs no description.
