Faith Hill and Tim McGraw shocked this country by announcing the Soul2Soul tour, a surprise for their fans. Originally starting off as a small tour, it soon grew large due to its success. I attended the Soul2Soul concert on September 29, 2000 at The Palace Of Auburn Hills in Auburn Hills, Michigan. The concert was truly AMAZING! Faith, who I think is the best singer ever opened with This Kiss. She was so exhilarating. The stage was brilliant, I have never seen a stage as great as that. Many different colors made it look so cool. Faith sang a total of 13 songs, which she did SO WELL. After the intermission, Tim came on. I was not a big fan of Tim and I mostly came for Faith. But he was great as well! I am now a fan of him. Tim sang 12 songs. After Faith and Tim finished their acts the finale came. They sang 6 songs together. This was the best part of the show. Two great stars singing together. You could tell that they were really singing to each other. It was so amazing, everyone should have been there. They closed by thanking their fans which was very nice. In my opinion the Soul2Soul tour was the best tour this world ever had! I hope all the fans go to go, because Faith will not be touring for at least 2 years. Faith said that Detroit was very special to her and that they were going to close their tour there. But since it had great success, it was extended. A third leg was now added to the tour. Detroit was had been chosen to be Faith Hill's Thanksgiving Special, which will air Thanksgiving night. So if you seen the previews, it was from the Detroit show! There was a notice on the door that it was being taped, but I didn't know it would be on Thanksgiving until Faith told everyone. Thank you SO much Faith and Tim for this wonderful tour!
