I enjoyed reading your review a lot, because it was smart and sassy. Although I do like Nsync, I totally understand where you are coming from and I agree with you. The problem with some of these pop stars is that they are not half bad, but they sing songs that won't build them a lasting career (i.e. christina aguilera, and no I am not including Britney in this list!)
Anyway, keep up the good work!

You say "In Sink" (Reply to this comment)

I say "In toilet!" I'd like to say "Bye Bye Bye" as I flush it! Sorry - I know there are many people, young and not-so-young alike who adore these guys. I just don't happen to be one of them. Like the Hansen's....comedian Bill Engvall said it best when he said, "I'd like to MM-Bop that album right into the garbage disposal!"

I was only reviewing the band, not any specific albums or songs. Thanks for visiting my review, nonetheless.

Perhaps he didn't "found" them, but his management style has focused on mass-marketing them in the same way as the "other" boy band that he founded. Even if he didn't "found" them, I strongly doubt if N Sync would have gone as far without his management thrust appealing to young hormone-laden adolescent girls. Thus, whether or not he really "founded" them is a minor technicality as the thrust of the argument remains entirely unaffected. Okay, so he didn't found them, but they found him and they had all the aspects of composition and dynamic he favored in boy bands, so they saved him the trouble of going out to try and recruit guys, auditioning them, etc. Makes life easier for him as all he has to focus on now is pushing their appeal in the same way as his other boy band.

Nice thoughtful review, but I can't even tell if you've actually heard the whole album or not. I don't want to rate you unfairly, so I'm just going to leave this one alone.

try juxtaposing NKOTB (New Kids On the Block) too...

PS - I confess, I just love pop music, so the dancy tunes of N Synch are still enjoyable.

Lou Perlman, the guy I think you are referring to, did not "found" NSYNC. The boys actually formed on their own. He did however, manage them. Big difference :). kristina
