What Kind of Island IS This, Exactly?

When you're stuck on a desert island, you need things like water and shelter. It's just essential. And, of course, the puonding of the surf may just drive you crazy, so you should definately have the ten best pop vocal CDs handy! They are as follows:
10.) Madonna's "Erotica", which is guaranteed to warm you on all those frostbitten nights! Hr dance tunes and hot innuendos will have you grooving in no time!
9.) Gin Blossoms' 'New Miserable Experience", which is full of Grateful Dead-ish smooth and relaxingly harmonious vocals, sad songs, and jubilant, exuberant melodies... clambake, anyone?
8.) Johnny Clegg's "Dela". It's a full-fledged tropical album with the sugary sweetness of modern forget-it-all-on-the-seashore pop! You'll be fashioning grass skirts and leis in no time.
7.)Pat Benatar's "Best Shots", which you can play during all those times when you're trying to establish order on this lord-of-the-flies island, but the monkeys just aren't cooperating!
6.) The Grateful Dead's "American Beauty", which is mellow, relaxed, and practically transports you back to the sixties.
5.) Loreena McKennitt's "Live In Paris and Toronto", because she's the best Celtic vocalist of all time, and her songs are like drugs- try them once and you just can't stop listening. You don't want to do anything but listen... and hey, look at the bonny swans floating on that ocean!
4.)Skid Row's "Skid Row"... their songs aren't exactly pop, but can't we digress and say that they are possibly the best eighties rock band ever created? Their songs will energize and funkify you!
3.) Sting's "Ten Summoner's Tales", if only for "Fields of Gold". Your island will start to look like heaven. Rescue? Who cares?
2.) The "South Park" soundtrack. Everyone needs to laugh sometimes!
1.0 The Counting Crows' "August and Everything After", which is the absolute best album of all-time. Smooth, jagged, clear, confused, paradoxical... it's perfect for your emotions on the island!
