Just when you don't think the Tragically Hip can perform any better they do... Opening acts of Kate Fenner and Chris Brown were great, while Guster proved to be a band to look out for in the future... On with the Hip... Just brilliant. Mixing it up from old to new songs (they played Opiated which is a very rare treat).. The liveliness of the crowd just seemed to propel the band to even greater heights by just feeding off the crowd. Gord Downie was his usual self, ranting and raving... Bobby Baker seemed to be in his own world, but letting us in with his unbelievable guitar playing.. Gord Sinclair was his usual self, quiet, yet brilliant. and Paul Langlois was steady as usual... Johnny Fay pounded out the notes all night long... definite highlight was Tiger the Lion.. probably the sleep song from the new album (Music @ Work)... again, if they're in your area check them out.. you won't regret it... this concert should be readily available for fans to get their hands on through trades or trees...
