Silverchair is among the few groups in this world who write and perform their own music, and its meaningful!!!!!!Their latest effort Neon Ballroom is amazing. The lyrics are deep and the musical arrangements are beautiful. And it's so hard to believe that such a well developed album came from a bunch of 20 year olds. This is one of the few cds I can listen from beginning to end.

They have come a long way from their teenage years of Frogstomp another great album. Back when this album was released they reminded me of Nirvana in all the positive ways. I am not comparing them to Nirvana, but they are young, original and capture the feelings and thoughts of youth. Especially with the loss of Nirvana there is a void in such originally expressive music. Neon Ballroom proves that Silverchair offers us a bright future to music.
