Don't start blaming her. Jaci is not the first Gospel Music artist who has chosen to join the mainstream, more secular music world. In her new album, "Llegar a ti," Velasquez may still reach her fans all over the world. Now, one may wonder whether she will keep the same message, but marketed to a larger audience. Other successful gospel artists have succeeded and failed. Her excellent vocal talent may help be the exception to the rule.
Jaci has a producer with an established reputation. He has the name. Rudy Perez produced her most recent album. It is a collection of inspirational ballads which show her artistic superiority.
We can only hope that she brings something positive to the aggressive secular music world. Some of the songs may show the premises for such changes.
Continue to show your support for her ministry by grabbing one of her albums from your local music store. Word of mouth still counts. Go for it!
