Mirage: An Electronic Winter Landscape [Digipak] by Klaus Schulze

Pros: His best album, one of the best electronic/ambient albums

If you're only getting one Klaus Schulze album, this is the one to get.

The first side (I mean track, I had the LP back in the day) starts out a bit erie but good. It sounds like it could be used as the soundtrack for the "Venus and Beyond Infinity" scene from 2001.

The second track is worth the price of the CD.
It is the all-time best piece of electronic music ever recorded. It was voted #1 track at klaus-schulze.com 5 out of 6 years (the other year it came in second).

Klaus Schulze was a member of Tangerine Dream, I like this album better than any of the TD albums I've heard (Phaedra, Rubycon, Encore, Sorcerer) and any of Eno's ambient albums, but I still like Jean Michal Jarre's Equinoxe the best.
